In the Lantern Phase you only remove the card in the right-most box, not the right-most card.

Great video of what looks like a fun and challenging game. Your enjoyment of playing was obvious and fun to watch. And on another subject, Aaron, I don't know if you are a fan of the tv show Survivor, but I think you'd be a great contestant on there.

The problem is Lincoln's abilities as he can use a fundraising token and then buy another token but Dave use the fundraising token and then bought a token not in the planning phase and then Aaron used a fundraising token and bought a token after using a fundraising token not in the planning phase which is the only time you can do it unless you're Lincoln's character

Thanks for the video. It was nice to see the game played, and learn some of the mechanics. I recently go the game however, and it looks like there might have been a few notable errors. First, I think that at the end of the round only the card in the right most (5th) space drops off the board, and if there is no card there, no card drops. Second, I don't think you have the option of moving a slave just one space when you have a 2 movement token. This was done several times in the final rounds. Most notably, however, is that I don't think Dave rolled the slave catcher dice in the final (8th) round. Don't get me wrong though, I really did like the video and I am impressed on how well you did.

+Louisa Diliberti you are totally right on the first rule - good spot. on the second, you can choose to stop at one less space.

I too noticed that no roll was shown on the final round, perhaps they did the effect and the roll was edited...not the case as the slave catchers remained in their same spots. 1:50:53

Another co-op game that could lead to an Alpha player telling people what actions to take. Though the theme and subject matter is really deep. I can see people saying 'we will let that slave get caught to let these people attain freedom,' that is going to be a bit problematic for some people.

I know this is years later, but that is what I was thinking watching this. This looks like a well-themed game, but the idea of having to make that calculation (letting people get re-enslaved to achieve the goal quicker) really rubbed me the wrong way. And I don't think there is a good way around it.

The ending of slavery was not an easy decision to make. It came very painfully to the nation, hundreds of thousands died to end it. An easy moral decision. But a very difficult pragmatic decision. But make it they did. Thankfully. Sadly it still exists in many places on Earth.
