100 Old Games From 2000s for Low End PC

In this video, I show you some of the best PC games from the 2000s that any PC can run (hopefully everyone can run these games), but I think many can even enjoy these fantastic games with a monster RTX graphics card. Please note that the games are not ranked and many good games are not on the list; this is not because they are not good or I don't like them, but because I tried to showcase some lesser-known games as well. so If your favorite low end pc game isn't on the list, let us know in the comments!

(although i love Shift and Shift 2 even more, but these are NFS in name only, and i rather consider them a part of Project Cars series, they were made by the same studio). But older games are also my favourite. PS2 and Xbox 360 are my favourite consoles, it's crazy how many awesome titles were made back then. Obviously same goes for pc games from that period. I recommend: Deus Ex Kingpin Soldiers of Fortune 2 Max Payne Medal of Honor Alied Assault Sim City 2000 Far Cry (1 and 2, if it's not to new. 3 was cool, too, but from then on it's always the same game) Diablo I & II + Lord of Destruction Mafia (the original one, though the remake is good, too, but it's not from the 2000s) Star Wars Jedi Academy II Age of Mythology Age of Empires II Silver aaaand many more.... (not a game) well, almost every game from back then was good when it came out haha...

Even if some of them aged bad in terms of graphics, on pure "fun" and entertainment part most of them are 100% better than the AAA we have today. What's impress me most is the incredible variety of genres, whereas today every game seems to have the same formula. 2000-2010 was truly the golden age of videogames!

agree 100%. I think the last send off for this generation was in 2013 where we got GTA V and ARMA 3. It went downhill after that, probably only RDR2 that was exceptional.

it's just that most games now are free-to-play games and fps/online games. And a lot of mobile games and commercial stuff. But among the very good games they are way better than the games of the 2000's. Even just indie games can be very pretty, artistic etc Now you have some games where it went downhill because they focused way too much on graphics and not physics. Like Watch dogs 2 (2016) or Cyberpunk (2020) have lower quality physics than GTA IV (2008)

Despite some games being wrongly named in the video, I still play some 2000s games that I really like on PC. Singleplayer-wise, Soldier of Fortune 1, Max Payne 1, BloodRayne 1, XIII and FEAR 1. I'll start mentioning the ones that are not showcased in your video. GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, GTA IV, Star Wars Republic Commando (Online multiplayer is playable on OpenSpy), Hitman Blood Money, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Resident Evil 5 and FEAR 2. Racing-wise, Need for Speed Underground 2, NFS Most Wanted, FlatOut 2 and Race Driver GRID. - Last but not least, Nocturne. It was released at the end of 1999, but I really like it. Multiplayer-wise, Urban Terror, CS 1.6, Call of Duty 2, 4, World at War and MW2 (2009), Team Fortress 2, L4D2 and FlatOut 2 (use OpenSpy, GameSpy is dead). And yes, Call of Duty games have a campaign.
