This is a very special figure to me. Me, my brother and our friends are doing a big D&d campaign and me and my brothers characters are based off of Optimus and Megatron. (Their names are Pietrov K'yullen and Manifred Tatasciore btw) This is the figure I use to represent Manifred and my brother uses the gAMer EdiTiON Optimus. Also I met Fred Tatasciore (his VA) at a con and I told him about Manifred and he thought it was so cool. I got him to sign the character sheet.

I found files for a new fusion canon and printed that it more matches the old WFC megatron figure, idk I find it looking better than the normal one it comes with. Besides that this was a surprisingly nice figure in the gamer line the knee peg and small feet are a bit awkward but the rest is nice.

I think this is the nicest commentary I've seen directed at this Megatron. Personally I feel both Optimus, and Megatron were missed opportunities to make some really stand out figures in the Leader Class scale. The budgetary restraints really hurt the production value all around.

When the front of a barrel convexes like that, its usually because of something like a Muzzle suppressor or Muzzle break. whenever i seen this feature on G1 weapon designs i always assumed it was supposed to be something like that.

A gun usually has more to it than just the barrel and the Muzzle Break, and even if that were the case, the game referred to this as a Riot Launcher, so it's a Rocket Launcher, not a Gun, and would not use a muzzle break.

1:38 what youre looking at for megatron is conceot art, in the gane model, the chestbisnt that much sticking out, the game model doesnt have the "beak mouth" you say it does

Devastation is amazing. The Highmoon games are overrated, where only one level in the Second Game truly comes together the way it's supposed to. Everything else feels like you are playing a Generic Third Person Shooter that just has a Transformers Coat of Paint. Vortex's Level in the second game truly feels like you are playing a game that could exist in no other franchise than transformers and it's amazing.

Great review PerspectiveEnd!! My main gripe with GE Megatron is that he is skinnier then GE Optimus Prime. lol I have always viewed Megatron being taller and more muscular then Prime, so it makes no sense to me when Megatron is smaller. Keep on being amazing.

I don't think that's cannon, though in the first game they didn't run into each other. But Optimus typically was built to Fight Megatron, so it doesn't make sense as to why he'd be smaller.

It's a good figure, I think people are a bit over harsh on it just cause of the Knees, which are stupid, but dealwithable. And I knew people were going to be mad about the Cannon.

I think I prefer the turret arm foleded. Off-center turrets are underrated imo. Breaking semitry can be really cool if done well. The secret is maintaining balance, I feel.
