I have heard that the actor who plays Abby had to have extra security while filming on location and stuff because people are already being assholes. Which is honestly SO disappointing and GROSS. like. The actor is a young woman. Chilllllllllllll. Regardless. I’m excited for the show to come back!

I'm 60 and an old gamer from the Space invader era and these games are the best games I've ever played. They have so much emotion in them and they have a brilliant story. I think the TV shows are a great addition and run seperate to the games. So you can't , or shouldn't, compare them too much.

100% do yourself a favor and play the games before the season. The first game is incredible but the second game is the greatest story ever told on the video game medium. The show can't cover all of the second game in one season (which it looks like theyre doing anyway) without having to change some story beats. Its better to play the game and then watch the show to see what kind of changes they make. Please, please, please. Play the games or at least watch someone beat them with no commentary.

The game is incredible. But if you watched and enjoyed season 1 without playing the game, I highly recommend watching the show and then playing the game. The game is my favorite of all time, but what I would give to watch it without knowing the story..

Tlou2 spoiler It makes sense to be tearing up, because the tone of the music shows how depressing this season is gonna be because Joel is going to die. That last shot of the trailer really has me crying as that’s likely a flashback of Ellie remembering Joel as she mourns him. I also hate Abby in the game but it’s gonna be difficult in the show because for years i’ve liked Kaitlyn Dever. I’m actually fascinated to see how she plays her as such an angry beast, because she usually plays sweet girls.

I don't care what nobody says, I love Abby's character. It's not like she did all of that for no reason, most of us just grew an emotional connection to Ellie and Joel, and Joel is not by any means a good person per say but he has a good heart (in certain cases). Abby vs Ellie............I can't wait. (P.S. if they send death threats to the actress, I will personally find and go to their house) Also if I don't see a Jacked and Buff version of Abby I'm gonna be disappointed.

everyone reacting to the teaser keeps saying they hope Kaitlyn Dever doesn't get harassed over playing Abby, but i just now thought about another person who may even end up getting it worse, considering the cultural climate these days - whoever ends up playing Lev will almost certainly get a not-insignificant amount of hate and/or harassment.. whoever it ends up being, i hope it doesn't get TOO bad for them. i was already really excited for season 2, myself, and this teaser is terrific and just makes me even more excited.

Don't think the show will come in early 2025. From what I remembered the idea this time it's to push the show to a later date in order to make it more relevant for the Emmy's and other awards. HBo considered their earlier release of season 1 as one of the main reasons why the show almost got no awards.

Like in the last episode, we gonna have Joel dying. I really don't know how they gonna show it cause either they show Joel dying early in the show like the game does OR last episode, we gonna have Joel dying. And then season 3, Ellie will start hunting Abby Cause they say season 2, they gonna cover the backstories a lot of these characters. Don't know who but it is gonna be interesting

I’m sure they could have definitely picked someone better. don’t get me wrong, bella ramsey has some good aspects in the role but mostly it is just not that good. Also, people try to pretend it doesn’t matter, but she doesn’t look much like ellie and that throws me off. even worse, she shouldn’t be playing older ellie it doesn’t make any sense.

@@mmemori I'm not a casting director and neither were craig and neil. Though they had a part in it, they ultimately were not apart of the casting team and didn't make the choice?? Also it is completely ridicolous to say I can not have the same amount of passion for the game as the creators can. Sorry, but bella is not good as ellie in season 1 and she will be even worse in season 2. It makes absolutely no sense for her to play older ellie. I would love for her to prove me wrong but she won't. also, I don't love pedro as joel that much either, but he is a lot better than bella. He at leasts looks like joel and does do a good job portraying the character most of the time.

The Last Of Us 1 is my favorite game off all time. The Last Of Us 2........ not so much😅. I'm trying SOOOO hard to put my opinion about the game to the side and appreciate the clear hard work and dedication that the actors and everyone working on the show is putting in. The sets look great, the actors basically look like what they're supposed to, those scenes look like they were just ripped straight from the game. Clearly alot of effort and love is being put into season 2 and i respect that alot, I personally just don't really appreciate the story. I just want to make it clear i don't hate the game because there is a lesbian couple or playing as female characters or the fact that there is a transgender character in it. In fact, Lev is my favorite character that was added in TLOS2. Between.......🏌‍♀️, and......... O👈, and Ellie turning into 😈, and alot of other things that i don't feel like typing out but i think you get the picture. I want to like the game so bad because its Last of us, but i just can't. I know other people are excited so i don't want to be a jerk and ruin it for other people, i just like giving my honest opinion. I hope none of the actors get harassed because thats not ok, they're just following the script.
