There was no shoehorning of anything culty. Gays existed in Greece. It was common for soldiers to be gay, better or for worse. The Greek Mythos is very sexualized and deviant as all hell. The artstyle was cool. Gameplay was great and the roguelike quality was fantastic. Very replayable and the story was compelling and made you want to play. Don't let game journos gaslight you. Hades 2 is probably going to be really fun, and not be much different from the first one. Let the journos be cringe.

The moment Stellar Blade became the battle ground of the culture war, I stopped giving a shit about it. I don't think a single opinion I read on it online is remotely genuine. On one side you have """gamers""" blindly praising it and on the other side you have SJWs blindly hating it. Gamers lost, day1 patch censured everything, so people was lied about "no censure everywhere where game released" All naked skin in most areas now covered by cloth. And even devs backpedaled and now say "its what we wanted" - if that what they wanted, why then shown and said VERY different things before that day1 patch?

Stellar Blade is not uncensored, they censored some graffiti because a journo put 2 different art assests together and came out with "Hard R" which they decried as "racist" and was removed in a patch.

With BG3 it's not even that scene that's the problem, it's the whole relationship system comes on way too fast and strong imo. It's the only bad thing in the game, that because I support my team members they want a sexual relationship? I mean I had to turn down every companion like wtf is wrong with these people we have parasites eating our brain and everyone wants to profess their undying love and attraction to me? weird weird. Could you imagine if Garrus from ME would have tried to hook up as hard as Will? How did ME do it so much better with so much less to work with.
