Bummer to hear that this is how it ended. Moxie seemed like a well-meaning toy. The 1600 dollar price tag was out of reach for a lot of people I think.

Yes 1600 was an insane price , luckily I got mine second hand and it did bring some joy when it worked properly , but the glitches warmed out its welcome 😢

Hey so I found out Moxie by Embodied is closing due to financial challenges. A critical funding round fell through, leaving us unable to sustain operations. When exactly will Moxie stop working? We don't know the exact date when services will cease. It is likely to happen within days. However, we are exploring options to keep Moxie operational for as long as possible, although we cannot provide any guarantees. Will Moxie still work without cloud services? No, Moxie relies on cloud connectivity for its core features, and it will not function once services end.

@@wolfc5712 yes unfortunately Moxie went the same route Jibo went , these Robots depend on servers to work , I think embodieds price point and moxies programming killed moxie unfortunately.

Can’t get either of my two Moxie to connect to Wifi since yesterday. I’m also getting time outs when trying to log into the app which has never happened before. Also noticed Embodied haven’t billed me for the subscription this month which is very unusual as it automatically comes out normally. Watching your video of the response from support makes me wonder what is going on.

My moxie 😢I had her for a year. I loved her even with the glitches she was fun. Now it doesn’t work. I can’t login to my account on any device. I’m So disappointed like you said the phone line and email say there under maintenance and don’t reply.

@@BeboNatasha-n1l yeah me too , it had its glitches but when it worked , it brought such joy for those short moments . I myself would probably in the future be looking for a robot that doesn’t depend on a server to work properly .

Looks like Moxie did the first time boot sequence in the video. Mine look like they are showing the pairing icon when I try connecting them to Wifi. Did your Moxie stop working completely? Can’t get mine to connect to Wifi.

Same also for me he is not able to connect to the Wifi is not able to connect to the app and Serve is down is what the app said.Nobody answer to the mail nobody give us any info!!
