I actually did this challenge, and for anyone who wants to do it, i found using the hunter class was the easiest because you can use the crystal halberd in anor londo and have the same health and stamina. That halberd was a meat grinder with buffs and gold pine resins.
@Teurger7 ай бұрын
Yeah, I also did it, and that halberd was insane. Occult club and Blacksmith hammer are also pretty good for random mobs when you don't want to waste durability.
@OurEmRM7 ай бұрын
Came here to mention this busted weapon; did an introvert run where I couldn't talk to NPCs and Crystal Halberd was great. 300 AR, buffable, 140 hits before it 'breaks' which is enough to get through the lord souls and dlc.

The trick that I like to use to make the 4 kings easier with low damage is using elizabeth mushrooms. The 100hp per second for 30 seconds is great for letting you stand there and get multiple hits in without having to worry about healing for a bit. Also loved the jump kill on Quelaag, definitely got style points for that one!

So I wish to tell you something that last thing talking about lock on I want to say it's more up to preference I say, and if I could give you advice on your videos it'd be try to avoid explaining the grind as your videos I feel are a bit to long, not to be a critique after all I'm not a ds1 youtuber but still from my literal 5 years of nonstop watching dark souls challenges then I could critique that at least yknow.
@AccainGaming7 ай бұрын
@@kingpoxy2289 A very weird place to be critiquing my videos on someone else's video, but either way I like explaining what I do and will keep doing it. I appreciate your opinion but that's the style I like to make them in and I am okay with others not liking my videos. I don't try to appeal to everyone because it's not possible to make everyone happy. What you're asking me to do is make the video how you would like it not how everyone would like it. Of course there are plenty of people that will agree with you and I understand that, but that just means my video style isn't for yall and that's okay. There are plenty of other great souls tubers to watch. Let's say I would do what you say there is a good chance all the other people who sub to me because of the style I present my videos in will no longer enjoy them. At the end of the day I will never be able to make a video that makes everyone happy and I am okay with that. I do this because I enjoy it not because I want a million subscribers. I am just happy anyone watches my videos, I don't need the whole world to watch them. Again I appreciate the advice but I will stick with the style I enjoy making the videos.

@@tommybarker4926 I am glad it helped you out! It definitely helps out depending on the situation you are in. I do use the lock on system in ER but I will toggle it on and off depending what's going on. DS1's lock on system just isn't that fleshed out as DS3 and ER (I haven't played DS2 and I don't recall BBs). I found out recently it's very useful for moonlight butterfly fight but that's the only fight that I found it useful. I will reiterate from that conversation on that other video. I personally like playing this way, I have no issues with others using the lock on system. You paid for the game, so you can play it however you want.

First of all, genius idea to get the Ghostblade early, didn't think of that one. Now, the changes I would implement when doing this run myself are: Class: Hunter - you'll se why in the routing section. Routing: - I'm getting the Composite Bow + Large Arrows in New Londo as well as the feathered ones, adding those to my initial stack of 30 standards should be enough to safely cut the tail from under the bridge. I can also use the bow to aim the bombs towards Ingward. I'm also getting the Morning Star to beat Tauros then upgrading to the Ghostblade. - I'm doing Capra and Gaping Dragon after Anor Londo, going straight to Queelag. RTSR should carry me through this section. - The most important change: GET THE CRYSTAL HALBERD IN ANOR LONDO. This will make O&S, 4 Kings, and the DLC a LOT more manageable and is the strongest weapon we can get without spending souls BY FAR. The hunter has just enough stats to 2-hand it. - I'm definitely cheesing Nito and Bed of Chaos. - Slight changes in the order of bosses. If you'd like a full breakdown of the route I'm planning, go check it out in the Google doc below. docs.google.com/document/d/1MVmKwlnJbAuGCWAv282TIFzOGMyHlikShVrx0hkv4uw/edit?usp=sharing

I would have loved to see this as a series. Like i really am curious about all the details, but you only gloss over them. Like i am sure there were several stressful moments fighting the Four Kings, but i didnt get to see any of it. Other creator(s) have made these challenges into series with fine success. And you'd get more bang for your buck, too, spreading it out.
