Fun little factoid: Devil Arms stay with the users indefinitely by merging with the soul so that they can always be summoned (that's why Vergil can still use Beowulf in the older games in the timeline).

How old is Dante in the third game ? Gotta love how Vergil is like "I have no time to speak with inferior beings or deal with unimportant details." when he addresses anyone else, but with Dante, he actually takes time to answer back to his provocations. Also, Dante likes to taunt his enemies. Did he dislike Jester out of annoyance at his similar personality, anger at his insults, or because he knew the demon was more twisted than he let on ?

As far as he knows: -His mother died because Sparda made enemies and didn't dispose of them; -All that training, and he and his brother aren't even together anymore; -He's half demon too, half of what killed his mother; -There isn't a moment of peace for him. I am glad he understood his father actually meant well though, after he saw what Arkham was like and how much ALL other demons despised him. I think I underestimated the saga and Dante as a protagonist. But it's still not my kind of game. It doesn't touch my heart deeply enough. Not like "Castlevania" or "Tomb Raider" for example. Why do those touch me more ? Because they have direction, a purpose to reach. And they get to choose how to approach it. "DMC" is just endless struggle.

Why obtain power if Vergil doesn't really have anything to fight for, not even world domination ? It's not like it's for revenge, since he thinks his mother left him. Does he want to rule demons ? What for ? Mundus ruled because he wanted order to a chaotic universe. The final demon boss from 2 wants to rule out of instinct, since it's a manifestation of chaos and power, and the wizard wants to rule for believing he could bring actual progress. What does Vergil seek power for ?

1:06:44 There’s only two official DMC mangas/comics, I think that’s fan art. Regardless, it looks cool. Where can I read it? Dante doesn’t find out Nelo Angelo is Vergil until after the third fight with him when Dante kills him and then finds Vergil’s half of the perfect amulet dropped on the floor.
