It’s a real shame that no teen will ever expirence the golden era of KZbin. The amount of effort that was put into making SMB and all the music and skits. The important thing to remember was that barely no money we’re ever made from these. This was just the result of great friends who wanted to have fun and wanted everyone watching to enjoy it aswell. Anyone else listening in 2021 or 2022 and wishing for an updated version of this song? God, the nostalgia! I'm mostly here again because I just recently started watching The Boys on Amazon Prime Video, and I got to the part where (no spoilers, don't worry) 3 characters are in a car, and all but the driver are just jamming tf out to We Didn't Start The Fire, so I listened to the original, then listened to Tessa Netting's parody of it that recapped 2020, and then I remembered this one and HAD to listen to it again! Even 12 years later, this is still some of the best content on the entire site!

I was 13 when this came out. I was an extremely online unmonitored internet access kid and was super active in the RichAlvarez forums back in the day. I remember back when I was 7 going through my Mario phase and I had all these stupid Mario bros songs burned onto a cd I played in the car with my dad, as well as the Mario galaxy soundtrack, the Pokemon themes and other video game music.. good memories man, video game soundtracks played a massive part in my childhood, and have got me to where I am with my passion for music today.
