This is kinda true. I like the bigger players of TB but TSB added so much. But as a Bears fan I go Walter over Neal Anderson. Aside from that yeah TSB is the gold standard. Sucks they couldn't match it on 16 bit consoles.

Great vid, but I have to strongly pushback against Madden '95. That game has not aged well at all, it was way too fast and choppy with a weak passing game. Madden '94 and especially Bill Walsh '95 were vastly superior and had a way better game engine imo

​@@bonesjackson81NHLPA '93 is my favorite as well, but '94 is undeniable masterpiece. '96 is unplayable to me today. I loved it as a kid but the gameplay is comically fast and it just isn't fun. They ruined the classic 16 bit series with NHL '95 where they prioritized speed over making marginal improvements to a nearly perfect game. It's so funny how EA was TOO ambitious back then and would switch gameplay engines instead of improving on amazing games. Now they just try to put lipstick on a pig every year.
