I actually liked the original Super Mario Party! The only thing I didn't like about it, though, was you only had to use Joy-Cons to play it! Thank god Superstars fixed that problem, which is one of the reasons why I prefer Superstars over SMP! And I heard through the grapevine that Jamboree also allows the use of the Pro Controller, so that's awesome too!

The realization on how old Triforce Heroes is at this point. I thought it just came out a couple years ago, but then Alex says "this game that I asked for when I was 18" and that was probably a bit longer ago than I was remembering lol

I've similarly had aspirations that I would be able to make levels and games like in Mario Maker. I picked up LittleBigPlanet back in the day with these grand designs in mind, and then I... never played it. 😅

I feel you on this. The games I regret buying were super Mario party, Mario maker 2, Mario bros u deluxe, and animal crossing. Got all of them digital and hardly ever touch the games. Feels like I screwed myself over

I used to feel that way about Super Mario Party. I bought it when it came out and played it a lot with the family but didnt like the fact that it was only joycon. When Mario Party Superstars came out i loved it more than SMP so i decided to trade it in at Gamestop 2 years ago. Now I find myself missing the minigames SMP had that Superstars doesnt have so i kinda regretted trading in SMP. Did recently pick it up again though so happy to have it in the collection again.

Honestly I really liked Nintendo Switch Sports especially with the added sports of golf and basketball and the giant soccer game was really fun!

I appreciate Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival because it is simple enough for my two-year old daughter to understand, and she absolutely loves all of my Animal Crossing Amiibo, so it's the perfect game for us to play together!

nothing was worse then burning a Christmas or Birthday present on a dud! I had a similar experience with The Summoner on PS2, asked for it for Christmas and played it for 20 minutes

Idk how i missed your zelda Tierlist. Will check it out soon. As for Nintendo specific gamea i regret... Hm... I'll say Pokemon Battle Revolution. Well it's not that I regret the game itself, it was great actually, wish i could play it today lol. But i regret that in order to get it, i had to pass up on WarioLand Shake it which came out at the time and i never got the opportunity to play that lovely game since.

I wouldn't say I had regrets when buying games, but there were games I just couldn't get into, whether it was boring, didn't meet my expectations, or just wasn't for me. Mostly, I play games that are simple, racing, adventure sometimes I play rhythm games like just dance. Paper mario is a series that I never really had an interest in trying that much. The origami king was trash imo. Mario and luigi paper jam, however, is really good. I enjoy playing that one. A crossover with Paper mario and mario and luigi was really good. I loved the idea, but I can understand the backlash it got during its time. I never was into the amiibos. I always thought amiibos were pointless, I thought they wouldn't do much for me, so I never bothered with the amiibos. Mario Maker 2, however, is better than the first game. It's modern and still has a lot of players, making levels and playing. I play once in a while these days, but I enjoy it a lot every time. Super mario Jamboree is going to be good. I can see that game being better, but I'm also keeping my hopes low. Mario Kart tour, it's gotta go! It's boring now! We're ready for a new mario Kart! Sonic forces were alright but too short, and I loved the soundtrack. omg, infinite theme is just incredible. Wii sports resort had 12 sports, btw. Nintendo Switch Sports is good, imo I enjoy playing every now and then. Mario strikers battle league was probably the worst comeback for a franchise in history imo, it launched unfinished, had no characters, had no stadiums, and was just boring! mario Golf Super Rush was better, but it didn't impress me that much. It felt way too hard than it needed to be, I prefer mario gold world tour on 3Ds than Super Rush. Mario tennis aces was, now I had mixed feelings for that game, I liked it, but again, it felt way harder than it needed to be, unnecessary physics, decent character roster, great courts but omg the idea of youre tennis racket breaking if you time you're swings wrong was so stupid it made the game feel like a chore more then fun. The story mode was awful because of that. It felt like a chore every time because you had to remember to time your swings. Otherwise, you break your racket enough times, then it's game over!

Sticker Star was the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced from a Nintendo game, I remember working for my college paper and it was like the one game I gave an abysmal review. It's such a beauty it's too bad the gameplay is redundant, it has an RPG battle system with no RPG mechanics, just stickers

Agree with Switch Sports, I played for 1hr and was pretty boring, maybe play in local multiplayer could be fun but I doubt it.

I remember buying Sticker Star when it released, and after a few hours I wish I didn’t 😂 along with New Yoshis Island was a big regretful purchase. Not a good game and was incredibly boring

The games I was disappointed for on Switch was Mario Strikers: Battle League and Tears of the Kingdom. Mario Strikers was dead on arrival. The trailer looked good, but the online play was more jarring than your typical online game from Nintendo. Like why is there a hard limit of 4 consoles for an 8 player game? You can have 8 player on a single console, so I don't know why it's like this. It felt like it needed more time to cook, but was out of the oven too early. Tears of the Kingdom didn't differentiate itself from BotW that much, and when it tries to, it feels like it's a mess or it's under developed. It felt like they spent most of the dev time figuring out Ultrahand than the actual game. Tears of the Kingdom is my least favorite Zelda game, and to add insult to injury, I bought the special edition pro controller, the special edition Switch OLED, and the collector's edition of the game, totaling around $600. Now, I did sell the Switch I had before this, but I sold that for $250, so for $350, I felt like I got ripped off. The Legend of Zelda is my favorite series to play, and to have TotK be such a let down after hyping the game up for years feels like a slap to the face.

I think my most recent regret would probably be Crisis Core Reunion. Didn't own a PSP so I never played the original. I also consider myself a pretty big FFVII fan and it always seems to get praise from the fanbase, but that game did not resonate with me at all. Didn't really care for the story or the characters and just left me feeling very 'meh' after beating it.

Sticker Star was sooooo bad! Actually the last handful of Paper Mario games haven't been good even though I did like Origami King. I hope the next one is more like Thousand Year Door.

DQ Treasures got repetitive FAST just don't feel like going back to it the quality is nowhere near the original DQXI
