I loved all the disney games on ps1 alot, toy story 2, bugs life, 102 dalmatians, other favorites werw the final fantasys, 7 and 8 particularly. Gaurdians crusade, streak hoverboarding, tony hawk got alotttt of time, mortal kombat 3, it was really my brothers and I collection , those demo discs were alot of my time as well

Does Chrono Trigger not get reprinted by Square Enix anymore? Not too long ago they sold it at their online store for $25.

Magical Melody letting you be IN the town instead of outside on a big empty lot is a huge plus, along with the grid everywhere allowing you to place things where ever you want. Having all those side objectives too really makes you want to do all of the game rather than just saying you're only going to do x or y. No HM game comes even close in these aspects. It's a bit janky and I don't much like the art style, but damn did it do these things well. Would love another game like it.

The Persona 4 music brought back so many memories

I’m lucky that being in rural southern IL, I still mostly have all my childhood NES & SNES games b/c we didn’t have Electronics Boutique, Babbage’s, or Funcoland in the transition from NES to SNES so I don’t have any mass trade story like most do. For going to college with PS1, I was on a full academic scholarship so I used my paychecks from the college newspaper, plus usual family gifts, to buy the PS1 games I wanted. I did make a horrible trade while in college that I still regret in trading FF 4/6/CT for a PS2 stereo speaker set that died in 13 months. I’ve only this summer reacquired FF 4/6 SNES, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get CT SNES back.

I'm late, but if you really want to play Rune Factory, i suggest you to play Rune Factory 4 Special. It has a lot of QoL improvement from the series and it's by far the best Rune Factory game(from the majority of people that play the game) tho i personally hooked to the series from playing Rune Factory 3

Wow, I've never seen anyone who covers so much in detail about Japanese music culture. It's often a shame that many KK slider tierlist vids are missing that aspect, considering it's basically composed by a Japanese composer and should have had a lot of influence from there. You should look into the Midwest Gaming Classic in April next year. It is one of my favourite cons in the US. The vendor hall and gaming rooms are mind blowing!

I had to end up rebuying a lot of my PS1 collection too cause I absolutely devastated it when I sold so many to GameStop during the PS2 era. Luckily the ones I had to rebuy weren't to expensive. But The Phantom Menace game was also on my list 😅 lol

so jealous your parents were into gaming. anything gaming growing up in the 90s was like pulling teeeeeth to get my folks on board. with that being said my parents got me FF7 on PC lollol not before or since have i met anyone that played that game on PC. also, yes more game hunting content.

Which games do you like the most from the PS1 video game console? I am curious to hear it. There's so many, many, many games, over a thousand infact to choose from. I like all the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games, typically they are quite fun, I don't know why, they just have a nice story and gameplay to them. There's obviously other great games too, but they're too many to mention. Maybe Final Fantasy 7 or The Simpsons Wrestling, lol. Or perhaps even Frogger for the classic video game people. =)

The game is addicting, I gave it a chance after ignoring it for years and I can’t put it down

I got up to poppi too the first time I played, before I ended up stopping. I felt overwhelmed with all the systems that the game was throwing at me, the world wasn't really selling me, and I was already put off by the fanservice which the inclusion of tora did NOT get my hopes high in that regard. Recently though, I decided to start from the beginning, with the first game. I played through that and loved it, which made learning the more complex systems of 2 a little bit easier. With the good will gained through the first game, I decided to stick with it and see what it managed to cook up. I still don't like the fanservice and the gacha system, but the rest of the game was great.

Zelda 2 is my S tier it's my favorite Zelda game and it was the one to make me a Zelda fan. Don't know how that happened but it did...

My brother got AWL as a birthday gift...and never tried to get it back from me, lol. I absolutely loved it as a kid, along with DS Cute (so long as a I avoided the game breaking bugs *coughCOOKINGFESTIVALcough*). It's easy to see why older copies are harder to find and deadly to the wallet's health.
