Harry slumming it again in a hostel on the travel budget - classic

Hi guys it seems EVERYONE has missed a few crucial points; in the heyday of Nienaber/Jones our defence, forwards and backs was ‘brick shithouse’ solid and our smother/rush defence was successful. Now it seems everyone is implementing versions of it better than us. Our forwards are still tough to get through. Our backs especially in the wide channels were like a sieve vs Ireland and the ABs; the ABs tomorrow will kick little, they’ll play an Irish style ball retention game and spin it when they discern an overlap (eg de Allende or Kriel caught in a ruck) with Jordan sliding in to make the overlap & then BB in 2nd half. I hope our boys are at last on to this issue. I haven’t seen or heard it yet. I also HOPE I’M WRONG! This leads to another related issue; we keep hearing Tony Brown this & TB that but nix of Flannery; isn’t he responsible for defence? Surely the spotlight should be on him now?

Everyone raving about SA reserves it wasn't them why we lost it was because of the penalties almost 2-1

Rugby’s scoring system greatly rewards teams who can force penalties at the ruck or scrum.
