Mutant League is a ton of fun to play. Played 2 seasons back to back without even realizing it. Alot of the players have names that are played of actual NFL players so that is always fun to see.

I found a free game on Steam called Chair Simulator. You literally play... as a chair. That game is better than Madden.

I have Madden 16 or 17 for PC I don't really play it it was just too much too complicated. I honestly play 05 and 08 which is a lot more simple just pick a play and go. My favorite was NCAA Football 2k6 for Xbox original

Bro you might want to update the list now and add this game that just came out in 2023 called Wild Card Football, it’s pretty good and a really fun game. The only thing about the game is that they don’t have actual NFL teams on the game, but the NFL gave Saber Interactive the company that made the game permission to use current NFL players and legendary ones too. I just started me a team and I have been playin in dream team mode which is where you can create a team and play online against other people with the team you made. Then you can unlock current players and put them on your team like I just unlocked Russell Wilson and made him the QB of my team and you can trade for better players too, there is also a season mode where you can play against the NFL QB’s teams and see how far you can go without losing. It’s pretty much one of the better non pro football games ever made, but still kind of licensed by the NFL.

Already have Retro Bowl. Played old Axis on mobile before. I’m going to get updated Axis on console and Pocket GM. Retro Bowl, Pocket GM, and Axis Combined is not even 1/3 $ of Madden 22 maximum edition 🤣🤣🤣

My switch lite doesn't have Madden so I bought axis football 23 and I love it, its the closest thing to madden just hate that the players are just made up people i wish we had a NFL live or a college football game or even a XFL game

Madden is basically an arcade game calling itself a real life simulation of football. When you turn the difficulty up do you feel computer a.i. is making better play calls. NO! F No! It's a bunch of break tackles they boost the computers individual players abilities to make plays just like an arcade game instead of making computer more tactical and smarter play calling. That F'in what an arcade game does. For years madden has been doing this it's time we call them out for terrible a.i. and making it too arcade like.

Axis football 2023 is out and pretty good, 7.5 to 8 out of 10. Really good franchise mode which i started. Picked this up cuz i didnt want to give EA madden $80. Wish there was a character creator tho. Havent seen it.

You went all the way down and back looking .. But, somehow never came across the best football game EVER made. NFL 2K1 Sega Dreamcast. The game looks great and it has the one thing every other football game don't seem to really understand .. playability. This game by FAR out plays the rest even the ones today. The only thing it didn't have was a contract with the NFL to show pictures and stats of actual NFL players. So everyone sold out over eye candy that had nothing to do with actually playing the game. NFL 2K1 is about understand how to play the game of football and mad player skills. All the rest are luck and random outcomes with a few spot checks.

@@floopysports Not really about what you see ... it is a good for that too. But, it's about playability. There isn't much Random luck to NFL 2K1. You have that much control.
