This explains why sorcerer Baradun is ludicrously powerful and handsome (patch notes words, not mine), and why all the NPC's dislike Greg so intensely! Adam created a simulated reality where his douchebag boss is at the bottom of the social ladder, is forced to interact with every single player, while not being able to ever leave, and is forced to just swallow insult and disrespect on the regular. In the episode where Greg is temporarily given a wife, the patch notes literally say "did not mean to make Greg happy". Such vindictiveness! I love these guys.

Less extreme ways to do this is also for decades now in trial phases with the goal to create fusion power plants.
