Adeptus titanicus is my favorite game. You can get your hands on amazing titans without selling your car and you can play a game that feels like you are in a big stompy robot. It is a true love letter to some of 40ks best models

As i was watching i kept thinking you should left some of the raw unpacking/unwrapping/flipping pages sounds. Theres people who like that and who knows, maybe you catch some viewers as the "sudden 40K asmr" guy. Hype is on. I think your viewers are really looking forward to see the building and painting of such an enviable collection.

Thanks for the comment SE M. In terms of sound I think that is a wonderful idea. I will implement this as soon as I get a shotgun microphone. That will allow me to get much more discrete sound recordings of the little sounds you are referring too. I too am looking forward to finally starting the building painting process. The truscale titans are sized to be played alongside the old Epic titans which were half the size of the newer AT ones. Same with the Imperator and the Titan Legions knights. They’ll be out of scale with the new AT ones.

Ah! That’s so interesting and makes a lot of sense. The old adage of the never ending confusion that is me and the scaling of epic over the years ha ha. I love how there is so much knowledge out that and I have literally had every question I’ve ever had about the hobby answered. Now multiple time by yourself! Thank you! @@BUNKER6 Even during the 4 editions of the original Epic, scale wasn’t particularly accurate throughout the range. The old Warlords are about 3mm scale but that didn’t matter when they were originally made in 1988 because the original AT was made to just be a titan fighting game set in the Horus Heresy. When they did decide to add them they didn’t want the infantry to be too small so went with 6mm. That was the 1st edition of Space Marine, also set in the HH time period, which is why it was called Space Marine as it was them fighting each other.. Those 2 games (AT & SM) are Epic 1st edition. Then it went to Space Marine 2nd edition and Titan Legions which had revamps of the rules and became 2nd edition. When you build the new AT Warlord you’ll see it’s about the same size as the old Epic Imperator. Maybe later on it would be good to have a history of Epic video.

Nice episode! I have about 40 of the new style knights and 10 of the AT18 titans - they really are fantastic models. I decided, however, that I’d paint different legios to my old style titans - I’ll be painting the AT18 as Gryphonnicus and my original Epic ones as Ignatus (I have about 25 old style titans). Then I came up with a house of my own for the original knights, to do a Knight Army for Epic Armageddon, and will do the current ones as one of the houses aligned to Gryphonicus. I am doing a traitor legio as well, so those will be Vulturum, but with House Malinax and/or House Makabius support.

@@BUNKER6 it is hard deciding where to start. I'd got myself so bogged down I wasn't enjoying the hobby for years so took a few months break from all thing mini. Just getting all of my AT built before the new year and they will then become my first project of the year when I feel I can happily get back into it. But good luck when you do start and even better luck with the channel.

Oh no problem! That’s a great question. I’m totally open. I may learn the 3rd edition as it has been described as Andy Chambers favorite battle system. If it’s good enough for him I’ll give it a whirl. Then I may learn NetEpic next!
