Besides, I do think that Joe may occasionally toss up some type of mini video of something. He knows that he can't resist that temptation to be with those that love them back. And if worse comes to worse, I can always bug Joe or Dave on their FB accounts. :p

I think Game Sack needs to be a bi-weekly show. It's obvious by the production values and lenght of the episodes that it takes a ton of work and time to make an episode, and putting them out weekly is bound to make you guys tired of it. I would also have no problem at all with the show taking a month or two off every year. After all, tv series do just that! As for me : I didn't see anything wrong with the current direction of the show. *shrugs* The views might have gone down, but you guys still get some views and I am one of them! I will always support you guys because I think you have a great perspective on games and a great sense of humour, and your enthusiasm for games is beautiful. Please take the necessary time off KZbin (it is well-deserved after a 5 years non-stop run) and hopefully you guys will go back to making episodes and in the process unleash your IMMENSE and UNRIVALED POWER upon us, as usual!

You guys are definitely my favorite content creators on KZbin. I've watched every episode most of them many many times. I love your corny dad jokes and your semi awkward banter with each other. Whenever I see you pop up in my sub box I watch that video right away, and always drop you a like. You guys have cheered me up when I'm down and you've never disapointed. i love this show and watched i think every episode now, after i discovered game sack i watched through all your previous episodes. I have enjoyed seeing the production and presenting improve over the episodes . I love both the system episodes and game episodes whether they be shmups, karting it doesnt matter i enjoy hearing about games i never heard of and seeing the footage you guys capture of the game. I also love your developer focused episodes and the episode about modding was great to watch. I completely understand if you guys wanted to go back to bi-weekly episodes because i wouldnt want you guys to feel burned out by it all, and even if you did want to go on a hiatus i will look forward to your return. Just please (pretty please) dont take away the sack permanently

Holy crap! I remember very fondly this shooter on the Genesis that my cousin had long, long ago, when I was little and the system was still very new.. I always assumed it was probably one of the Thunder Force games, but as awesome as they were I had a feeling that wasn't right. I had memories of specific areas like this cloudy place with parallax scrolling and a night-time cityscape with lots of lightning, and it was one of those memories where I just kinda started to wonder if I made it up or dreamed it up? But there it is, I FINALLY found it again -- Whip Rush. This is why I love you guys! You cover absolutely EVERYTHING so eventually I'll remember every cool game I nearly forgot, and find tons of awesome ones I never knew about to begin with.

I've always wanted Arrow Flash, and now I want it even more. Whip Rush is one of my favorite shooters--the music is excellent! I'm glad you guys chose to talk about Renovation! Back in the day, I would've loved to play games with anime-style graphics but the majority of them were JRPGs (just didn't have that kinda patience). I quickly started to pick up that Renovation's games filled that niche for me--Valis 3 is still one of my faves on the Genesis.

Arcus Odyssey was actually the first ever game I traded for in a shop, giving up my copy of Dick Tracy for the Genesis in the process. I enjoyed it a lot at the time, and was able to beat it multiple times with the Wizard, who was easily the best character (Bead Shea, I think was his name). As a matter of fact, I beat it one day during a pretty bad storm, and at the moment I got to the ending, the sun had come out again. It's a cool gaming memory I'll never forget.

Great call going with Renovation. While I don't own any Renovation games since I live in Japan and have access to the original developed versions from Wolf Team, Telenet etc, I'm glad you are covering these titles as many are great hidden games. By the way, is Renovation actually an off shoot of Reno? Reno are also part of the Telenet line of developers.

The see. It was something I always wondered about. Seems Reno was a later team at Telenet. There was also Laser Games but I'm not sure if this was another in house Telenet team or a renaming of a previous team. Either way Telenet Japan were quite an interesting company.

1:05 - I used to work there a few years ago. That's 650 Towsend in SF, CA. It's been bought out by Zynga and is their HQ. Crazy to see them replacing all of the blue walls w/ Red ones. Cool to be working in the building that Sega once dominated from, but sad to see it owned by a completely different company as far as terms of games.

Thank you for another very enjoyable episode. I've found Renovation interesting as a publisher and appreciate getting to learn more about them so easily thanks to your videos. I had no idea vegetarians had access to a vast amount of future space technology. There's something about Valis 3 that I like a lot. It's one of those games I think feels like more than just the sum of its parts. It seems like it's better than it should be. I like both the PC Engine CD version and the Genesis version, with each having its advantages over the other. Since the Genesis version is on cart and is shorter, it feels a bit more tightly designed and just the right length. Finally, I see that Game Sack will be taking a break. I'm amazed the show has been going on so long with the high level of production and with no breaks, whether weekly or bi-weekly. I have no complaints at all about a break and hope it does you some good. I was quite surprised when the show returned to being a weekly show as a lot of work clearly goes in and the show previously went bi-weekly because of how much work it was. I have no problem with a non-weekly release schedule if/when the show comes back.
