Because sub count really doesn't mean shit. You can have a million subs, but then only like less than half of those subs are watching your videos. They just subscribed out of habit. What really matters is views, and viewers who actually come back to your videos.

Subs are not as important as people are led to believe. True they help with algorithms and such and you are more likely to get views from subs but, as far as making money, views is the only metric that matters as you get paid $X.xx per 1,000 views. So yeah, I wouldn't sweat the subs!!
