No, I'm not. Its not so much the cost of the PS5 Pro that's the issue. Its the cost of the system and then the $80 a year (at minimum) PS Plus yearly subscription, then the $70 games. Its a money pit. Buy a pc, no subscription required to cloud save or play online with Steam. Also the PS5 games have been few and not impressive so far. I'm not rewarding them for crap.

I’m not knocking the introduction to the PlayStation 5 pro, however I’ve never owned or purchased a pro model console before. I’ve always kept my launch edition consoles and have always gotten my money’s worth from them. The fact that the console doesn’t come with a disk drive and stand to support the console is a huge mistake in my opinion for a pro model console. $699 is worth it, but Sony could have done better.

Sony is not upgrading the graphics performance with the PS5 Pro though. The console has the same graphic performance as the base. All they are doing is advertising what they advertised with the base PS5 and that's 4K graphics at 60 FPS. The base PS5 box literally says 4K 120 FPS $700 for Fidelity and Performance mode all in one is not great value for the dollar.
