I wasn’t before. In Sonic Boom and other projects, it sounded like he was phoning it in too much to me. A bit too raspy, almost like a growl. But here, a few years later? The delivery almost reminds me of Griffith. But less deep. Still has that dark and brooding, on the edge of sorrow and hate, energy. That sharp, raspy, deep voice from Shadow always felt like he is always hiding a well of wrath and hate just underneath that serious demeanor. Which I feel Griffith and Thornton get down well to reflect Shadow’s personality.

I was worried about Keanu Reeves voicing him for the movie since his voice is deeper but he too pulled through since he sounds like him if Shadow was older, just a bit. Therefore, Kirk Thornton is a great choice but Jason Griffith will always be my Shadow the Hedgehog just as he is my Sonic because his voice is perfectionism at its finest.

Gotta be honest, It doesn't look like it was 2d animated. Most of it anyway. There's hints of 2d animation within the effects, some facial expressions and the background. But if I didn't knew better then I say that either they use a 3d software and made it look like 2d or some of the animation are rotoscoped from 3d animations. I'm not saying it looks bad or that it makes it worse. But after looking at the animation for a while. It makes me think there was some helped from 3d animation. Just an observation that I made from looking at the Spectacular animation!

I have not seen anyone mention this about the TIME EATER. To expand on this basically it boils down to this. At this point in the trailer at 1:30 when time eater interrupts the video, he pops out, laughing, while looking up, I mean as evil as it gets yk. I know doesn't sound too weird right, but besides this one clip, the time eater never showed any real emotion, let alone an actual vocal sound, but in Generations 11 he was kind of animalistic. But the time eater is also supposed to be under Eggman's control and given who Maria and Gerald are it seems strange that Eggman would be the one causing this. Something interesting i noticed is the Arc is on the left side and the moons crater is on the right. I think they are trying to explain the absence of the crater in the past by saying that the arc hit the moon on the left side and then caused it to rotate so the crater was hidden from view on earth until recently where now it’s finally rotated all the way around and you can see it.
