Right! I don't think any cinematic gave me that genuine "gasp!" like WoD's did. Seeing hellscream in that exact same situation in an alternate timeline, made me think that that was really his destiny, it was always meant to happen. But then all of a sudden Garrosh saves him, and then he says "times change" and I'm like oh fuck!!! This is gunna be a great xpac....WRONG!!!

This old reveal shows how even back then just how disconnected from their playerbase Blizzard was.. Cinematic reveals should always be reserved for BlizzCons, Where the crowd actually understands and are thirsty for these types of cinematics and you get huge positive reaction from real fans, unlike gamescom, where the majority of people there are there for other games and can give two F's about old a** world of warcraft as shown by the lack of reaction

they cut so much content that could have filled two more patches, and asspulled the legion for the final raid that could have been an epic showdown with Grommash Hellscream with his axe being a legendary drop. they had the shattrath raid planned and could have had an entire ogre tier on their little island to the southwest to help mix up things.

Paweł Kapusta naw mists was nowhere near as bad as WOD....Mists had a new class..it had that...Siege of orgrimmar was a fantastic raid...hellfire citadel...is not...mists had more than 3 raids..the narrative at least was interesting not the wonky story WOD has...mists at least had Dominance offensive and isle of thunder...we just get half assed tanaan..WOD is worst expac because its lacking in EVERY aspect that made every other expac at least passable

Oh shut up, we all know Cata was far worse. Although imo no wow expansion is "bad", just lacking in content. Cata had a nice atmosphere with the whole Goblin/Worgen, which they should have worked more on. Should have made Undermine and Gilneas two new cities but royally fucked up.
