Little unsolicited tech crew protip that may help you earn brownie points in the future: if it's an HDMI game console, make sure their audio output is set to Stereo and not 5.1.

​@@emeraldaly7646 well if it outputs 5.1 or 7.1 when the mixer hardware is set to receive stereo (all twitch streams are 2 channel) then those extra audio channels will not be output to the mixer and there will be missing audio. such a thing happened on Jaguar King's MGS2 run some number of years ago and I figured out that the problem was the surround sound before Power Up did because I ran into that problem when troubleshooting my own HDMI capture.

I was going through a rough time in my life the last time Carcinogen ran at GDQ. I watched the VOD of his RE7 run over and over again back then. I have a lot of fond memories attached to it. Seeing him return to GDQ and absolutely kill it on stage like this is incredible. So glad I got to see this happen live, and so happy for him.

my favourite run this GDQ i've watched so far, because no hit runs are as big as the traditional speedrun format and the added tension it brings ! More non traditional categories of well known games next year would be awesome (OOT, SMetroid ect. )

Man the last time I watched Carci for hours he was trying the RE4 Remake no damage runs and I was seriously worried for his mental health. Some time later he stated how bad he found the game and that he would not play it anymore. Then I watch this and Carci is so goddamn full of joy and energy! It's so good to see a great player being serious af an at the same time having tons of fun. Great content!
