the gamecube was my first console I remember using as a kid and this was one of the games we had for it. all I remember is it goddamn terrifying me. I vaguely recall trying harder to beat it when I was a bit older with what little help the internet could offer at the time, but when I originally played it I'm honestly not even sure if I had it in me to beat the first boss. pretty sure I just wandered around until I got too scared, same as I wandered around outset island thanks to being too scared to go into the forest

If it was dark still there is a bowling ghost to point the light at so it wont spawn. Tiny time loss due to scare animation, but it has no health so you just element tap in casual play

100% is all that is needed to complete the game to get the secret ending if there is one or everything required to complete every achievement whereas Max percent is everything you can possibly do in the game before beating it or even after beating it depending on the game

Area Boss portraits are determined by how much health you have when the boss is defeated. To get a gold portrait on Chauncey, Bogmire, Boolossus, and King Boo, you have to complete the boss with more than 90 HP. HD went into the battle having not healed, so he only earned the silver portrait. As to why the results screen showed a gold portrait when the machine clearly showed the silver... I have no idea, actually.

Flicking the c stick back and forth causes luigi to lurch and vacum faster if your standing on the "sweet spot" or a direct line to the ghost
