I'm glad my research could be of help with this video! Here's a fun bonus fact: One of Notts's dialogues also calls her singing "Return of the Bird-Wrangling Hero, Prelude in E-sharp Minor". This is a joke introduced by the localization team, but anyone with knowledge of music will know this is ridiculous since E-sharp is just F. But you theoretically could write it in E-sharp Minor… a key signature with eight sharps (F is double-sharped). I did try to transcribe the in-game song at one point and I think it even uses a quarter tone… Zelda composers at it again.
@Kurea47Ай бұрын
_Yeah! E-minor! Alright! Yeah!!_ But seriously, thanks for that bit of music trivia. Wait -- is that the joke the Spongebob writers were trying to make? I finally get it now! lol

The humourous naming system of the NPCs just really adds to the "human" element in games dev and it's really nice when these are pointed out! Also, Yona with a sword would have been sick, contrasting with her reserved personality

0:58 The official soundtrack for BotW that released in Japan in 2018 actually included a list of all the music references to previous games (although they forgot at least 2 that I know of), so this has been known since then at least.

This episode was REALLY interesting! I like how it shared more interesting tidbits rather than game mechanics. Also, I don’t see the big deal everyone keeps making about the Lynel. All I did was spawn a Ball & Chain Trooper, & respawn it right in front of the Lynel whenever the Trooper died. It took literally 10 seconds 🤣

For #17, the giant rock is a neat trick, but why not let the Lynel take itself out? There are 2 singing frogs in the game: one that causes rain, and one that just alerts other enemies to your presence. Use the latter to draw the Lynel out of the forest, and over to the nearby stream/river. Then jump into the stream/river when the Lynel targets you, and the Lynel should try to follow, except...it drowns instead. The Lynel echo is now yours.
@Maheli_SeliАй бұрын
Sounds like a tedious process
@L337M4573RKАй бұрын
@Maheli_Seli Faster than dragging a large rock across a quarter of the map, then dragging it all around the forest (following the tracks), and finally positioning it in front of you in order to get it over the Lynel's body. The frog method only requires the frog echo, and using it to easily lure the Lynel down and out of the forest, and into the nearby river/stream.
@Maheli_SeliАй бұрын
@@L337M4573RK i used the shadow guard lvl.3 which 3 shots the lynel 😂 Dont know why there is even such a big deal with the lynel
@L337M4573RKАй бұрын
@Maheli_Seli The point is trying to get the Lynel as early as possible (mainly for bragging rights). I used that lvl 3 echo during my first playthrough. By getting the Lynel earlier, it allows you to use it as soon as Tri has enough power to do so.
@Maheli_SeliАй бұрын
@@L337M4573RK the point is the lynel costs 6 tris (5 tris when tri reaches max lvl) So whats the point of getting it before you can summon it ? By the time you can actually summon it you should have very decent echoes.

Something else we don't know in the Zelda series? Where did all the shrines and divine beasts go. Why have the Gerudo regressed from where they were in OoT? How did Nintendo pull the Zonai, yet another magitechnology society like the sheikah, out of their asses with no prior mention or lore in BOTW? Some questions are doomed to remain unanswered...
