The void energy lash out at Turalyon hurting him enough to make him fall on both knee recoiling in pain...and yet...would I have done anything differently if I had known that embracing the shadow would push him away. As if it was his decision, and not the fact that the shadow corrupts your body and apparently attack anything living near by.

So she manifested shadow powers out of nowhere... and they're separated...despite us seeing them very much together many times since... The first part was awesome, but it all went down hill near the end. High Elves are way cooler and have excellent powers of their own. She wouldn't need shadow to win that fight and Turalyon would have incinerated those demons with the light. Blizzard, for the love of god, just add High Elves to the Alliance like everyone has been asking for decades. Racial Traits: - Bow Specialization: Increased chance to crit - Bonus to healing spells of all kinds - Arcane discipline that allows a High Elf to reverse the effects of all spells on themselves, an ally, or an enemy for half their duration up to a maximum of 8 seconds. 2min Cooldown. - Bonus skill to Herbalism PS: Can't play as Warlocks but can be Druids.

@@gantzuka Don't get what? Elaborate when you're saying something. What's there not to get? It's clearly littered with plot holes and lore mistakes. Up until this trailer, there's been no indication that Turalyon viewed Aleria differently or that they weren't able to touch one another. They've been seen together numerous times since their return speaking affectionately. On another note: where did she aquire these powers? It just sprung out of her? And since when does shadow make you stronger? Shadow magic is life draining, it doesn't fill you with Wonder Woman powers. Suddenly she became super strong and girl bossed the whole army of demons?? That's nonsense. If anything, shadow would be less effective vs demons when compared to Turalyon's light or her elemental elven powers. The animation is also choppy and subpar.

@@justinwallace269 You ever read the books? I've played they games and technically a lot of lore is missing from the game as well as animated shorts. But there is always more detailed lore in the books. As for Shadow magic, yeah it's void magic and affects life and sanity. But many in Azeroth use shadow magic. Trolls are especially adept in it's use. And I think it all has to do with a person's background and surroundings. High Elves ain't had the brightest of well lived lives, with the scourge almost completely wiping them out. The corruption of the Sun Well. So I'm guessing that had something to do with it. Besides are you forgetting Locus-Walker? He's her mentor and it doesn't go into detail where they met and how longs he's been mentoring her. As for animation? Could have been better, I don't think that was the point thouh.

@@gantzuka I don't bother with the books anymore. I used to read all of them back when WoW was a better game. These days, it's not worth it. I generally don't respect games or movies that require you to do homework in order to know what's going on, and I always found the crossover from books to game somewhat spotty. In regards to shadow magic, yes exactly. It drains life and warps minds. I don't know how teleportation and Wonderwoman powers suddenly fit into that. In regard to High Elves, it's their struggle that makes them interesting. Those who stuck with the Alliance demonstrated true character and resolve in controlling their addictions. They fight on bravel, joining righteous groups such as the Argent Crusade, the Kirin Tor, various ranger groups around Azeroth, and the Alliance itself. I'd feel way cooler playing them than any other Elf group. They're tougher, wiser, and stronger willed than any Blood or Void Elf.

@@madhatterzake3871 My issue with the OP is that I am unable to see how exactly the male character was humiliated or how the female looks "unfeminine". I can somewhat see the "girlboss" problem but aside from that I don't see any other problems in this short.

I personally don't agree with this. -Male character was NOT humiliated. If anything, it was the female character who was, because they used the "pOwErS oF thE DaRK", which obviously would normally be an evil thing, and I'm assuming it is in the culture within Wow. -From what we can tell, she was ALREADY incredibly skilled, having survived one continuous, gruesome war. Something that IS NOT a feat to be taken lightly. -Yeah, I mean, some woman in real life ARE like that. 'Specially body builders. Hot damn. Now, I don't want to say that normally you wouldn't have a point, a lot of media is like this, but I don't personally feel this applies here.
