took me aslong to land the stupid flying piece of garbage as the entire dungeon, that says alot.. the ap system and car and 8 secret dungeons not this one made me cut my stars from 5/10 to 2/10 also only having 1 skill in the entire game doesn't help.. Blink strike and nothing.. beat all game on normal.. nothing was a challenge but that stupid car.. but alot of buggy and boring stuff that takes years, like no item dungeon, the story where u can only use ring of bs most of the time etc :D.. And the spell system what a complete joke.. as the summons, I always get ramuh like 99%.. some of them in 120+ hours I haven't even seen once..(unless story). Also some monster run out of fight zone and ur just kinda screwed.. can also take forever before ur allowed to battle doods just stand there glitching like fuck.. And why for the love of god make the game so u have to kill all the weakest enemies to get stronger.. or even make it so even the noobest of noobs get absurd strong early weapon or lvl 99 before the game even begins... not like u need all the ap anyways since 90% of all skills do absolutely nothing anyways :)

Vengeful Fresh happened to me too. Turns out if you are standing facing the dungeon entrance you turn around and go though the first short cut you opened, up the slope and there is a little platform that leads to and ledge. Jump there (easy) and you will go though the last short cut you opened.

I was actually thinking that was the only explanation for how, with how rushed several parts of the game was, something this huge and elaborate could come about. But let's be honest, the level designers probably only spent a year and a half building this God of War killer; Tetsuya Nomura only has one person work on his games at a time. When one finishes one part, the next guy gets started.

This is much harder. The chocobo races are kind of easy-ish. To me at least. For me, my least favourite bit is the bit right after the giant skull spike thing, where everything is tilted 45 degrees. Also, how the heck do you open the shortcut right there?

So smash away! *Pitio in slow-mo* This labyrinth isn't a race against time, especially if for those that have not completed it. Take your time and experience hell. The dungeon can be completed without ever having to sprint once. *Black Hood is worth it* There isn't an excuse to not have the best gear*

Word of advice. If you press "attack" while you have a weapon in your hands, you can be moved forward. In order from flinging you furthest to shortest, they are daggers, swords, greatswords. This can be used for extra insurance on some jumps or to cheese stuff. Example: the rotating wheels can be jumped onto using the daggers. Hope this helps

I got half way through the dungeon after spending two hours, then I realized you can cut across it after you jump at an early point in the dungeon and switch between your shield and sword to go further to the other side. From there it takes about 5 minutes or less to complete. Both the long way and the “short-cut” take skill, but the short-cut saves you hours of your time. Black Hood = best item in the game! (In my opinion)

yo some advice, to make your jump shorter. Let off of the left stick sooner and don't press it again, no matter what. You can't change direction in air in this game like you can in any other game with stuff like this. Also if you press it after you let go before you land it automatically makes you do the walk animatoin. That feature not being included alone is what made this so hard for me.

Gerard Rosario it took another guide to see what is going on. It's weird. Don't know if it is on purpose or a bug. But if it is on purpose, the guy who thought it was a good idea needs to be shot! You are not supposed to aim at the horizontal bar, but the vertical one! It's weird I know but after several failures, I jumped at the vertical bar and nailed it the first time!

It took me like nine hours to finish this nightmare. xD I like the idea behind this. The people who designed this are very creative. But on the other hand they seem to be very sadistic as well. Every new area was like a hour filled with trial and error. At first I was like "hey, thats actually nice", but after this yellow spinning ball I was like "fuck this". But in the end I can proudly say that I managed to get through the whole thing without warp strikes, saving or any tutorials.

Tried this today for the first time, took me 3hrs 15 without the guide. ATTENTION: don't fly out of the dungeon, go to the map and TOW CAR. 100gil and you won't blow yourself up trying to leave after forgetting to save and have to go back for another attempt. Pro tip: daggers, spears and swords add distance and a level of control to some of your movement. Hit O (or B) at the end of your jump to extend. I used daggers mainly to skip entire sections (as they add the most distance) when I learned the paths after a couple of "deaths". For some of the more technical, shorter jumps hitting 'O' when directly above a ledge you're going for with the sword can help to land cleaner. I know I'm as late to game as Noctis wasbut if anyone sees this that still hasn't tried the game or dungeon you're welcome. 😁

I finished the whole thing, what I couldn't figure out was at 9:28 there's the statue blockers on your left and right, no clue what is behind them or how to deactivate those two.

I don't know if anyone else knows this but after you exit the dungeon and get to the Regalia, instead of flying out, tow it back to Hammerhead. This saved me so much stress after getting out that place.

Square Enix took a horrible page from Bethesdas book and added platforming in a game that does not have the mechanics/engine to support it well. This guide was thoroughly helpful.(though I only used it for the parts I got stuck on) So glad I never have to step foot back there EVER again

Doing decent with dungeon not mad...yet but that rotating thing where there is spinning thing before 10:10 is stuck in one position and i can just walk through any fix

There's still 2 doors (the ones you break with the red aura) opposite of each other with loot behind them, you can see them both at 9:27 in the video. Does anybody know how to get around to these doors and break them? I'm sure the loots nothing special but I need to know lol

Yo guys I need some help. I got to the very end where I'm jumping the pillars to get to the Black Hood but I FELL BACK IN THE STARTING ROOM. I CANNOT GET BACK UP THERE. I FORGOT TO HIT THE RED STONE WITH THE SPIRIT WEAPON. Does that mean I need to do the whole dungeon again?!

It's one of them. Not in terms of monsters (there aren't any) but some of those jumps are hard.

ME TOO! Also My controller is going so if I don't re position it my left thumbstick is slightly tilted up. Noctis was constantly walking off edges. So frustrating. And now I'm pissed because I found out there's a really strong weapon in that dungeon that I missed. I hate that dungeon so much I'm debating on if I'll even go back.

NM was a switch in the back

Just go through the gap in the sphere, across the central area inside the sphere (past the spiky pillar and the steel ball), jump through the other gap in the sphere and you will land on a stone area. The switch will literally be right in front of you, can't miss it.

If you were a perfectionist I can see why. I'm at level 90+ with all my characters. Might give it a try. But first gotta get Adamontoise.

Try the short-cut. Look for videos on “Pitioss Speed run”. I completed it in about 5 to 10 min because it took a couple of tries. You can cut across it if you time your jump well as you switch between a sword and shield while in the air. If you watch a video you’ll see. The black hood item is worth it. You can dodge or parry perfectly every time even against the strongest enemies.
