Its crazy how people lose those things, I dont understand, like are you guys constantly lifting the console? even if youre moving it, should unplugg everything and should be first instinct to grab those stands. Ive seen people wrecklessly handling and moving their console while its still plugged in, and it hurts to see that because people dont realize you can mess up and bend the ports doing that. If Youre a kid Id understand, but a teen or adult, cmon now cant be that sloppy, should know better when moving the ps5 or anything for that matter gotta be careful of that stuff and take better care of your stuff

I think any console that was "refurbished" probably had dust stuck in the power unit causing an overheating issue. Happened to mine within almost a month of owning (i have cats and was a smoker when i got it, so thats probably why) But the desgin of these things osnt the best

I bought a Used/Refurbished (I don't remember which) 8GB Wii U from Gamestop back a year or two before the Switch released, and back then I didn't even noticed it at first, but they put a plain white skin on the console to cover up the scratches. I peeled off the skin/sticker and sure enough it was heavily scratched up underneath. But hey at least it wasn't magic erased.

No offense but I think that you're exaggerating things a bit. I bought a referbished PS5 GameStop & the console works as expected & as for the plates there wasn't a single scratch on them & if there was I didn't notice them. Most people will replace the plates anyway & my console wasn't banned

Yeah these controllers ARE garbage especially for how much they cost. Hell I've already had to replace more PS5 controllers then I did the entire life of the PS4. Sure they are subjectively cool but they are almost the cheapest made controllers I have ever used. Hell Ive bought a couple "Switch" controllers from Amazon for like $40, which is half the cost of Dualsense now, and they have hall-effect sticks AND programmable back buttons. I think the generic Switch controller even had a better warranty...LOL

I took my daughter to GameStop at a mall in NJ this past weekend..and it is one that still has the 90s Babbages exterior tile work and glass..the girl working the desk didn't say anything or greet us (I don't look like a fat gamer anymore though but rather a muscular 40 something that looks about 29 yo). And the store was in its most sorriest condition I've ever seen one in. The Nintendo section was a whopping 1-2 rows of mostly new but also used games mixed in. The PS and Xbox sections were both just a half rack long of mostly used games. The rest of the store was..cheap and disorganized plastic figure and plushie Schwag garbage. The store looked pathetic and it had already been a week after Christmas. When I was 14 and had my parents take me to EB/Babbages to buy a Sega game (Eternal Champions actually) during Christmas break, the store was pristine. I think their front office C Suite is basically biding their time and extracting as much cash from the business... don't be surprised if this store closes its doors this year.

Hi i have a Blue Wii that was gifted to me 9 years ago and i still play with it and i really enjoy it but there is a question that has been in my mind for a wile "does my Wii disc drive work?" All the games i have are in a hard disc connected to the wii usb port and i never putted a disc in my Wii disc drive but since it was probably already used i do not know if the disc drive works. I would like to buy Wii sport since i do not have it in the hard disc but i do not know if my disc drive works so what do i have to do?

@jrob0021 I only ordered twice from GameStop. It was a ps2 both times. One had a power issue where the cord had to be tied up to work. I swapped the cord but same issue. I sent it back and got a ps2 where the disc drive would not play anything but purple/blue disc games. It wouldn't play regular dvd games for some reason. It also came with ps1 controller instead of ps2. So I understand
