I'm sure the ending where u are Freddy was to symbolize the purple man putting the kid into the animitronic, showing that u r the kid, to show u the insanity the child faces of singing the same songs everyday to the children, then witnessing them being killed and stuffed inside the other animitronics, being silent not able to speak in torment, that is what Scott was showing us, the torment, then the purple guy gets into springtrap, then he suffers also, until he lights the place on fire

You know if I think back to when I watch you play the game the narrator did say twice in there about not doing certain things like the first one when he talked about people in the past leaving thanks for you to listen to or pick up or whatever he said don't do it don't listen to it then in the last part where you're on the stage he says you're probably wondering if you missed anything will let me tell you you didn't and I wouldn't advise you to go back through and find everything you can take these two ways one he's actually trying to help you by not finding all the tapes and getting stuck in the game or two he's saying all that so he can make you find all the tapes and you get stuck in the game either way the narrator kind of plays a part and either way it's just up to you the game tester to take it how you want

So looking back, we can all agree that tape girl wasn't strong enough and managed to resist the virus so the new beta tester was Vanessa who due to either being an afton or her troubled childhood succumbed to it. She then went below where the pizzaplex would be built and found Afton. Each kidnapped child has their agony used to fuel Burntrap but ut wasn't enough. Gregory would've been the last but her freed Vannessa from Aftons control in Security Breach but now Cassie is trapped beneath the pizzaplex with the mask that has the virus in it.
