So, today I was researching the Roman, Julian, and Gregorian calendar, and, years after I first watched this video, I finally found out why the months of the revolutions are a month before they took place. They didn’t switch to the Gregorian calendar from the Julian calendar until a year after the revolutions. The Julian calendar is about 10 days behind the Gregorian calendar so for the Russians the revolutions were taking place at the end of the month instead of the beginning of the next one. I know no one will see this, but I had to comment it anyway. Thanks for reading!

I mean, from a color-theory standpoint, it makes sense that they used red against a blue background because of the contrast. While orange would make sense for that too, games aimed for children tend to put their characters in primary colors. While secondary colors tend to be used for slightly older audiences. I think at the time of his design, the game was aimed at a pretty young audience.

When creators say "it's not meant to a children's character, they often mean, "It's not meant to be an exclusively children's character." The games/characters/stories still hold up as adults.
