It’s actually wild that you were able to figure out the main boss using trademarking. Wheter or not this is actually Sawyer remains to be seen but if it is him…this chapter just got a whole lot creepier considering Yarnaby is actively preying and destroying the toys. If he is Sawyer, then the man who created the bigger bodies initiate, the man who placed innocent children and adults into toys either against their will or not, is having fun killing them all and slaughtering them. That’s a creepy realization.

@@StuffhappensbutUprosperI would love that idea, but unfortunately not only did we see Sawyer working with later bigger bodies, but we’ve heard him working with the Prototype in one of the audio files. While it would be ironic that he would become the most important experiment and torture victim, I don’t think he’s the prototype. Then again, I also don’t think that Sawyer’s gonna be revealed in this chapter, at least not fully. Think like Bendy: we didn’t see the full version of Bendy until chapter 5, where he gets a full mutation. Either we’re gonna see Sawyer and he’s not finished, or we’re not gonna see him at all, but still interact with him directly.

@@JFFM730 Honestly, I would be surprised if Harley/the Doctor _WASN'T_ a toy. Like the video mentioned, we know that the Doctor _DOES_ want to cheat death and escape mortality; he pitched the Bigger Bodies Initiative with the excuse of reducing costs, but it does seem like that was a cover for his real goal of using the Bigger Bodies Initiative to research ways of putting his mind/soul into an immortal body. I didn't even think of him turning himself into a toy, but now that this video mentioned it, it would be perfectly in-character. Plus. it would set up a great foil to the Prototype. Both would be immortal toys, both would have incredible intelligence (the Prototype disassembling complex tech, the Doctor finding a human-toy conversion), both have some influence over other toys, and both are ruthless and manipulative in getting what they want (the Prototype molded Catnap, the Doctor orders Yarnaby). The difference being that the Prototype likely became a toy against his will, while the Doctor wanted to throw away his human body to be a toy. The Prototype despises being a toy and led the others in a bloody open revolt, while the Doctor wants things to stay the same and to cover up the truth of the factory's illegal crimes.

I feel like you are right about the 2 villians, but in a different way. yarn and dough will be separate villians, but also the same. dough would wear yarnaby as a suit, and maybe since yarnaby in itself is a separate entity, is able to "meet death", and trick him. Yarn needs something to fill to keep it's shape, and dough can do just that, while also maybe being able to shape yarnaby to suit his needs

Awesome theory & coverage of Poppy Playtime lore! Also, great explanations of different codes! I'm torn on the final vote. Tom's explanation for supporting the Dough character seems pretty sensible regarding thematic & character arc elements but it would also make sense for the big bad to be associated with string/sewing things together if Harley was a doctor/surgeon who stitched together patients in a past life & Yarnby was revealed in a recent trailer (that seems less like a toy & more like a self-made project).

I just made a theory, but first some backstory before I say it: I was playing Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 yesterday, and when turning on the sky dome, I noticed Poppy saying something along the lines of “Catnap serves the original”, not “the prototype”, not “1006”, but “the original”, and did you not say in one of your earliest theories say that poppy was the original toy? The PROTOTYPE for all of the other toys, and before you say in the comments “but the prototype is experiment 1006”, and to that, I say How would Ludwig know how to turn his daughter, or whoever became Poppy, into a toy without previous experiments showing him exactly how to do it? And for another rebuke to this theory, the prototype’s arm being huge and metallic, not like Poppy’s arms, I have two answers The first answer is that the arm we saw is Poppy’s bigger body, which I don’t exactly believe, but another, more probable one I believe, that could just be a placeholder, in a sense In conclusion: the Poppy doll we’ve been with throughout the game is the prototype, experiment 1006 And I need to say, if anyone already came up with this theory, I didn’t see it, I came up with this myself

I get a feeling the horror factor of a sentient yard person and sentient (moldable) playdoh are gonna be intense to watch unfold I haven't played a poppy playtime game. Because I'm a super scared wimp but it's gonna be interesting to see Markiplier and such playing and reacting to it. I imagine Douey is going to be very energetic. Perhaps even bouncy in personality. Turning into a dough replica of mommy, catnap, or huggy. I could also imagine him turning into a sentient pool of dough that floors a room or chases the player as a tidal wave of dough with a face. The creativity of a play-doh character/person for HORROR is extremely flexible and unique!

There are only a certain number of them that we will see, and we have to keep track of which is the Nightmare critter, and which is the imposter.
