Sounds like our character is a genius. If I remember correctly, the amount of names is because of the first person you text with. The first mission of the game is cleaning up the van you later use to start your cleaning company, bought by your friend (I think he happened to be at a car show?). As you clean the van, the messages he sends you focus on him giving you name ideas for the company you're about to start. It ends with him saying that he's going to spread the word for you. Thus, he keeps telling people different names for your company while giving them the exact same contact information.
