If they actually lost Morrathi, as in, she died to death, then this is a massive blow to the druchii. The empire lost some general, and troops, but they have reserves to draw on. The edgy bois lost one of their legends. To a fucking cannon crew.

@@solarchos8821 Lore wise, the Dark Elves are growing in population and are the most numerous of the Elven factions. It's the high elves that are declining in lore. Plus with their scheming, you can imagine it's highly likely that Morathi used a body double and ensured that she 'died' so that any disloyal minion who would move in to seize power afterwards would then be exposed and dealt with.

Again, a great battle! Everything was in it - dramaturgy, a nice contrast of the colors of the army (the Empire softens with almost uniform uniforms of the Dark Elves), Ogre mercenaries, dramatic fights of commanders. I really liked it and I ask for more.

@@Lightingwarrior no they don't, they need the combined part of their combined arms to work. Infantry, arty, cav, and magic. Missing or screwing up any part of that and the rest falls apart. With it all emp is able to thrash anyone cept dwarves. Dwarves only do two things and that makes them a rock whereas emp needs to be the flowing river.

In my campaign she's literally the biggest empire in the campaign with endless hoards of armies. As Rikeland I managed to unite most of the human races to fight back and it was going well. AND THEN FUCKING CHAOS ATTACKED!! So now I have to split my forces in order to deal with both threats. It's probably the most fun I've had in a campaign in any total war game as it's essentially WW3 with almost every major nation fighting the dark elves.

I find this is very commonly the case. Either her or malkith ened up snow balling an stomping ulthuan an being able to send 2 or 3 full stacks a turn no matter what i do I can't seem to even push back. Wasn't until I was able to stack up 4 armies of ll together that I was able to spear head a counter attack. 245 turns before I was able to final push her back to elven lands an start rebuilding I kept my coin up by looting an pillaging

@@guilliman1990 I managed to get a lot of gold from the vampire wars and stacked my economy up to the point where I could do anything. With the big war still going on to this day my treasury is dangerously low for someone who regularly has 7000+ currency predictions each turn, so I’ve decided that since attacking from Bretonia is getting no where I’ll try colonizing some lizard men territory and allying myself with some other factions so we can sweep up from the south. It seems like the bulk of their armies are at the Vortex so it should hopefully be a swift assault. On the sad side I sent my strongest and most trusted rag tag band of characters to face chaos at the Hell pit. I’ve been with them since the beginning of the campaign and it seems the odds are too great with all of chaos at their walls. They may die but they’ll teach Chaos not to fuck with Sigmars finest!

Same thing happened to me. This bitch declared war on me while I was fighting a gigantic Orc empire in the southern badlands under Grimgor Ironhide as well as the powerful southern Skaven empire of Clan Skyre, and 11 chaos armies invaded in the north. Best part is I still won. :)

No matter how many Dark Elves were blown up by cannons, shot by muskets, eaten by ogres, or burned by magical fire - there were always more Dark Elves. That made it all a bit pointless. Were the Dark Elves coming off some production line? And, as normal, the defending army had built no defences at all - which makes no sense.

You could add some battle drums and war music to the battles. I understand that you try to keep it more realistic, but at wars actually there are the army bands that keeps playing music to inspire the soldiers. Some trumpets and drums would be nice xD
