you guys are crazy thinking Novak is not one of the favourites. Ignoring RG where he pulled out from injury, what other big tournament this year was he really trying his hardest to win? Aus Open - where he lost in 4 sets in the SF to Sinner. The rest of the events were not on the same scale as Wmbledon and he has way more chance here than in other events.

I wouldn't necessarily say Sinner is a "big favorite". Last year everyone made Nole the "big favorite" to beat Alcaraz. This year everyone is expecting Sinner to beat Alcaraz in the semis forgetting that Carlos on grass in 2024 is different from 2022. Let's see!

Eh....No doubt that Novak is there to win it.....but, can he win? He had a poor year so far and was struggling with mid level players in several tournaments, even before his RG injuries. He has a very gentle draw and is guaranteed to get at least to quarters. We will see if he can get further.

Yes I agree. I think, the change has arrived--and that's just fine. Sinner and Alcaraz are great and fun to watch. And I love Novak but it's not going to happen. Sinner and Alcaraz are focussed, well coached and attentive. Novak loves Wimbledon, that's why he's playing, a mistake I think--puts his other priority, the Olympics in jeopardy. We'll see. Anyway change is coming.

I too want to see Novak Djokovic retired. I don't care if it's Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner or Father Time, just retire him. He's a great player, and if I dislike him it's mostly due to his entourage (his dad, the ones saying that he's going to win 30...). I used to be a fan of Rafa Nadal, that is, until he became the Sports Ambassador of Saudi Arabia. Now I'm supporting Alcaraz, but there's nothing to dislike about Jannik Sinner.
