Kenin knocked out Gauff early in last year's tournament. To suggest she has "no chance" against Iga is bordering on the absurd. Sure, Swiatek is favored and rightly so. But Sofia definitely has a punchers chance.

Iga faces a difficult task, but it is a chance for us to see Iga fighting with the upper elite of the grass game, almost at every level of the ladder. Even though it's grass, I think that this year Iga will reach the final and win it. For every player who will meet Iga at this year's Wimbledon, it will be Dead End. A street you can't leave without failure. I wouldn't count out Paolini, who can reach high levels, and the joke of heaven this year would be the Iga vs Jasmine final. Koko Gauff is one of my favorites and may surprise us.

Guys, are you serious? Stakusic is a champion of last BJ Cup, she won all her two matches in final group (Leylah too) and first final match against Italy, lost only once to Krejcikova. You are Leylah's supporters, if I'm not mistaken, did you hear she is a BJ Cup champion, won all her matches including decider doubles in semis (against Krejcikova/Siniakova) and was named the best player of the tournament?

I think Rybakina will win but I want Coco Gauff to win. Very funny video. I have to admit Ben didnt sound to convincing picking Coco LOL. JG I could be wrong but I honestly don't htink Iga is making the second week of this slam. If she does that would be great but I highly doubt it.

You're missing the concept of "dark horse". It can't be a seeded player. Also, being Brits, you can't judge your players objectively. Boulter is a lightweight. She can grab some 250/500 title while big girls are not watching, but comes the real competition (Slams/1000) she loses early all the time. Never reached quarters in Slams or 1000. Only reached R16 in 1000 once (Miami this year). And she is on tour since 2018. Wishful thinking on your part.

Boulter is playing at a higher level now, and MIGHT be capable of a deeper run. But I concur with your point. She needs to demonstrate that she is capable of breaking through. As far as a darkhorse, I like the German Eva Lys. Not to win the tournament, but maybe stealing a couple of matches.

Strangely, I find myself in agreement with JG. There are many question marks, including injury issues with the top players. There are multiple women playing very well who can snatch this title. I can't remember a tournament this wide open. Should be exiting.

This looks like 2022 all over again for Iga, no prep tournament before Wimbledon. Only difference being she added more power on her serve. She seems more interested in the Olympics than Wimbledon in my opinion.

Sorry but Andreeva knocking out Sabalenka is so dumb. Sabalenka wins easily if she’s healthy look Madrid and all other meetings 😅 In Roland Garros Saba was ill and yes she has a shoulder injury now but maybe it’s not bad anymore
