16 courses may not seem like much compared to the base 32 courses that the game comes with, but remember: 64, Super Circuit, and Double Dash only had 16 courses. That's like buying an entire Mario Kart game for 12 dollars. Best value DLC ever.

Driving on Skyloft would be cool...but Skyloft has been used in stages so often lately (Smash Bros and Hyrule Warriors). I'd much rather see a different area of Skyward Sword. But to be honest, I want Stone Tower Temple to be the Zelda track. It would be great with the anti gravity.

I noticed at 7:15 that on the right side of the starting line, there seems to be a path which might be a shortcut from earlier within the tracks layout, and might be item boxes on that path too, also the Wario's Gold Mine section where it dips could possibly be a anti-gravity section for a short period before heading back up and returning to normal mode.

About F-Zero tracks (well, Mute City), I don't see any split track at all. All I can see that you turn slight right, then slight left, and finally sharp right. Just like DS Peach Garden (ok, even though it dosen't slippery in Mute City). Maybe because Nintendo acknowledged about fire/bunny hopping? Giving a slight turn might be an evil design for fire/bunny hoppers. But they can use demon slide there, right? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I can see in Mute City.

GAMEXPLAIN!!! I noticed something REALLY COOL about the Mysterious stage at 7:21. On the sides of the Start/Finish line you can see many Toad's and Shy Guys, But if you look on the Right you can see 4 Toads and 3 Shy Guys that seem to be Walking up the side of the Structure. How would they be able to do that without a rope? Either they have some sort of Shoes that help them cling to the Side or The Track is at an Angle, Which means that this Might be the First track in the Game where you Immediately Start the race in Anti-Gravity Mode. If you look at the Lights on the Side, even these are at an Angle which means you'll start the Race facing Straight Up!!!

Oh man. A Skyloft track would be awesome :) Judging from the forest track screenshot, it may seem that the whole bend, including the starting / finish line, is in anti-grav. It's like you're racing and twisting up and around a giant tree (or multiple trees). The thick vine near the top right seems to indicate the anti-gravity. It also looks reminiscent to the vines found in Skyward Sword, particularily ones where they're curled up and you have to shoot with a slingshot.

It only makes sense they release at least one dlc after those come out. By following the same logic applied in these two, people who pre order the dlc would be able to choose between colorful toads and koopa troopas ( they are even present in the game already! ) and birdo, who appears in a banner, would be one of the characters available, as well as dry bones and maybe even diddy kong. Just a wild guess...

I have a theory that the Triforce is for tracks based on old games (8 and 16 bits) while the leaf is for tracks based on newer franchises, like pikmin and animal crossing. Also it is pretty safe to assume that there will be a bike based on Excitebike

I dunno if we'll be seeing Captain Falcon as a DLC characters. It's always possible of course, but I think the reason there's an F-Zero track is because they have the Blue Falcon kart returning from MK7. And if that's their logic, that makes it likely that one of the other vehicles we'll get in the DLC is a bike based off of the Excitebikes, which I find interesting.

One thing I thought is that one of the new vehicles could be an excitebike to represent the Excitebike. In addition, Wario's Gold Mine was never used as a Retro Course before so, the rule of not using repeated courses could still apply here.

Omg, Just realised that that forest track starts on a tree trunk! 1: The toads and shyguys are on branches that makes it Clear that the track is going Straight up, 2: You can see another tree in that gap 3:The Vine is hanging down 4:the starting line is hanging down (you can just about see it) 5: the leaves are drooping downwords 6: you can see the tree trunk you start going up or down that tree trunk and then you drive either onto the ground or along that tree trunk! and it may be a giant world where everything is small, because judging by the size of the tree! Hell it might even be the tree from the animal crossing new leaf, But I doubt it! Im actually most excited for this track! :3

A few things you missed: 1. When playing as Link or on a Zelda course, do you think that the items will change textures? The bob-ombs could become Zelda style bombs and roll instead of walk, coins could become rupees, boomerang could become the boomerang of gales, shells could become arrows, the star could become the cape of invincibility, the fireballs could become the fire rod, and (crazy as it sounds) the super horn could become a nearby sword slash, taking out nearby enemies and shells. The super horn could also be the ocarina. 2. You forgot to mention when talking about the Animal Crossing track's beach possibilities that you may be able to go underwater 3. When analyzing the Animal Crossing track, you forgot to show the clips of villager and Isabel driving on the track 4. Mention how anti-grav may be used in Wario's gold mine 5. Talk about the vehicles. Personally, I think the Zelda pack will include the Blue Falcon as a kart, the Exitebike as a bike, the sail from windwaker as a glider, and dirtbike wheels for the exitebike. Great analysis, please make a follow up and mention my predictions (and give a shoutout).

It could be likely that the promotional artwork style for skyward sword could be reused for future games as well... Similar to New Super Mario Bros reusing visual assets for new installments. The Skyward Sword vibe could be Nintendo's new art style for Zelda games...

One thing you might want to add to that. You pointed out that Captain Falcon might show up in an unannounced future DLC pack to complete the trifecta of Characters, Karts and Courses. The same can be said for Link. Both Link himself and a track have been confirmed. Wouldn't one of the new Karts be Zelda based to complete said trifecta? Same goes for Animal Crossing.

For me, the forest track has a huge resemblance to the Giant tree mansion in Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. The blue lights are identical and it looks dark on the track

Actually, I had always gotten the impression that as it was a Zelda pack, the egg is most likely meant to be the Windfish's egg (from "Link's Awakening"). (Yes, I know the cup placeholder found was green "Yoshi's" egg, but it wouldn't take much to re-color three spots magenta to fix that). If this were the case, then the courses still could be in the correct new/retro placement, with the cup icon not necessarily representing the courses within.

Considering there's 3 other cup with the yoshy egg, i'm thinking there will be 4 cups attatched to all of those DLC, featuring all the amibo's comming out, and tracks for them. the Sunshine can only mean that the Defino people will be playable at some point as well as colored toads seen in almost all the tracks that you can find colored yoshi and shyguys. Kirby, cap falcon, pac man, sonic, pikachu, etc. all the amibo will have their representation to some point i'm positive on that.

A think the booster in Wario's Goldmine is still there but not visible from that position. The F-Zero in track my opinion looks like Mute City 1 from the SNES. Also on the FULL picture of Cat Peach you could see a new kart on the left side (I think)

I think the Excitebike track will feature random obstacles every time you start a race, that would make more sense if it is a rectangular track. And the other thing that makes me suspicious is WHY NO DIDDY KONG? I hope is for a good reason! :)

So I found in the second screen shot, Isabelle looks like shes driving through the map of animal crossing. Looking at the windows behind her, they look exactly the same as the windows from the town hall we can see in the screen shot next to her.Links car in the upper right hand corner reminds me vaguely of a goddess chest from Skyward Sword or his scarf from Hyrule Warriors. These are just what I noticed!

Perhaps the Excitebike course could be a little bit like baby park. It seems like the fences on the end of the turn make a half circle where the corner actually is a 180 degree corner and it could be the form of Baby Park, but with the excitebike-esque hills on both the sides, making it a bit wilder. If this is true, the course may also have more than three courses.

That forest track reminds me lot of DK maybe even something from DKTF? As DK is tired in it would make sense for them to get a new stage based this way and it would be coming out a year after the game so they would have had time to make it based off of it. I also hope we can get a Galaxy/Comet Observitory stage, maybe even drive around it with some star bits dropping down occasionally becoming hazards. It would be a pretty stage and Rosalina hasn't gotten a stage yet.

I suspect that since the vehicle icon with a question mark is a Kart because it has the silhouette of a kart. I also think that maybe that one track that you thought was completely original might be based off of *Tall Trunk Galaxy* from Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Just a thought: That forest kind of level looks strangely familiar to the inside of the big Faron Woods tree in Skyward Sword. Also, it could be that you start out entering the tree, then you work your way up to the top, similar to how Mt Wario is one single stretch. That MK logo could just be one of the things that divides the "laps".

Hey game explain that forest like course with the Mario kart starting line on it do you think its based off of the Mario party 2 min game coaster. In it you went through out a forest like area and had to clear mini games and reach the goal. You had to use two characters in it.
