The coins on this track aren't Mario coins, they're bells indicated by the star an them. THAT'S attention to detail!

well, how about some attention to detail that backs up their theory that the villagers change places? 0:24 note the villager next to the yellow house, now in the analysis of the start of the trailer at 0:26, that is definitely not the same villager in the same location.

Lone Fish Josh I think it will be even better.Usually racing games don't excel in details, at vantage of the speed (200 cc incoming, eh!). But with the pace of an Animal Crossing they have plenty of room to spend into detailing the characters.

Well no because Maple Treeway was originally a Wii track but he said fall reminds him of MK7 while summer reminds him of MKWii

TheBlazing Zard I wasn't exactly thinking of Maple Treeway when I said what vibes the track gave me. The fall version does have Maple Treeway elements, like the leave piles, but idk. The sky just gives me a Maka Wuhu feel to it. The summer version reminds me of the outdoors-type MKWii tracks for some reason, like their versions of DS Peach Gardens, GCN Peach Beach, DS Delfino Square, etc.

I think you missed something small. If you look at the coins, you can see they have a star icon on them. And if you go to the course trailer, you can hear that the coins make a different type of sound effect. I'm am 100% sure that these coins are actually bells, the currency in Animal Crossing.

CoolCheatsall I won't be surprised at all if they announce it at E3 this year and release it this fall or winter. They did that with City Folk on the Wii. That was announced and revealed at E3 2008 and was released in November of 2008. So it's very possible.

I think the game would only benefit from HD if you can play it in a third-person perspective, cuz bird's-eye view is not really the best for that... I'd love an animal crossing with a controllable camera!

I think theres a high chance, since their really pushing the franchise, like having the DLC focused on Animal Crossing, and plus the new game on the 3DS, i think its called AC Happy Home Designer. And the first Amiibo cards are for it.

At 0:26 in the trailer you can see a new paper airplane like glider that isabelle is using. She uses it again at 1:22 and 1:42. The Male villager also uses it at 1:31

The tree in this course also resembles similarities to the oldest tree stage in the game and the balloon arch is a public works project that can be placed in a town in new leaf.

One of villager's air trick animations is him turning around in the air and doing his laughing animation. Not only that, but one of Isabelle's animations is her singing. Heck, you can even see music notes coming out of her mouth into the air around her.

People have probably already pointed this out, but it's worth mentioning that like the rupees in Hyrule Circuit, the coins are changed to bells on this track, indicated by the star design on the coin. Pretty sweet.

There is something you missed too, in the early picture where it shows the track you can see how it was still unfinished, because they added leaves on the wooden sides where the Animal Crossing sign is,and also they added flowers and stuff :P

The attention to detail in Nintendo games never fails to amaze me. Like how 80-90% of all the alternate costumes in Smash 3DS/Wii U are inspired by other Nintendo-related media. Such as Mario's U.S costume, R.O.B's alternate costume resembling his Japanese design, Link's alternate costume resembling his fierce deity form, and heck even Kirby having an alternate costume presenting what Meta Knight looks like without his mask :)

Similar to the first dlc pack we got two vehicles from different franchises (Master Cycle and Blue Falcon), one completely original one(Tanooki Kart) and one that they brought back from a previous mario kart game (B dasher). So as we know the two vehicles from different franchises (Streetle and City Tripper) it is likely that we are still waiting for another new one and a previous vehicle.

Interestingly, the only villager species I found in the trailer were either cats, squirrels, rabbits, or wolves. There were five representatives for each species too. Cats - Rosie, Mitzi, Moe, Punchy, Bob Squirrels - Marshal, Poppy, Static, Filbert, Peanut Rabbits - Ruby, Bunnie, Genji, Chrissy, Francine Wolves - Fang, Whitney, Lobo, Wolfgang, Chief It'd be nice if all of the villagers could appear at one point or another, but I imagine that'd take up a LOT of space.

Also, there are a lot of villager houses in the track so you might be able to be more villagers other than the standard two (ssb4 character select) Finaly, maybe as a fun little add on, the flowers break if you ride over them

In MK Wii there are the same piles of leafs ! The track is called Maple Treeway, a mushroom also pops up when you run into the leafs, and it pops up in front of you so you can benefit the boost right away. Though sometimes a banana randomly pops out instead of a mushroom, which can trick you an slow you down in stead. I guees it wiil be the same here.

I feel like the seashells are meant to be this track's version of traffic cones, like those candy corn things on Sweet Sweet Canyon, given that they're triangular and can easily be knocked away. Since the fruits don't act like the seashells at all, I feel like they could be hazards.

One thing that you missed is the coins are replaced with bells. It is a cool detail because coins are the currency in Mario and bells are the currency Aninimal Crossing.

Good analysis ! But you forget an important detail: the coins in this track are not actual Mario coins, those are Bells from the Animal Crossing games them-self. We can even see a star on them (like on the bags in games).

One possibility with the different villagers seen in the trailer and initial picture is that the version of the track used in the initial picture was unofficial. Everybody is pointing out that the Coins have been replaced with Bells. Since I never played Animal Crossing, I couldn't help but notice that they look like Star Coins and Coins from Mario 64, its remake for DS, and the Coin trophy and Melee.

You know the kart the male villager is riding it on. It actually a beetle. The kart is called streetle. Also when this kart goes in flying section the streetle wing on the back pop up. Which is a really nice touch.
