Thanks for the fantastic explanation Juliette. Totally new to this field so I have a few quick questions: 1. Is gamification of educational content the cheapest and easiest to implement since we already have educational content and we present it in an environment with rewards, leaderboards, badges etc? 2. Game based learning is maybe the most expensive and difficult to implement because we need to coordinate with game developers, pay them to modify an existing game to highlight some aspect that we're trying to teach (climate change, economics, history, peace & cooperation)? 3. Are serious games also super expensive and least likely to succeed? Are there any successful examples of a serious game ever? Here we build a game from scratch with the express purpose of teaching some lessons and I am guessing it would be close to impossible to make the game fun and interesting much like it is close to impossible to make a movie about accounting that is both genuinely educational while also being riveting?

How do I get involved with Growth Engineering? I'm an educational psychologist and board game enthusiast. I'd love to bridge these two parts of my life to help my struggling students find enjoyment in learning.

Hi Juliette and the Growth Engineering Team. Is there a ROUGH ballpark estimate you can give for the various types of gamification, game-based, and serious games type of costs that might be involved? I understand the variability could be huge but I'm curious as to possibly the range. Thanks so much for your great videos!

Do you think there is a way that we can use the worlds gaming addiction and take that addiction and apply it to levelling up our real life instead of our in game characters? I'm currently in the process of making a video on "how to gamify your life" and would love to chat. Btw, great video!

Hi, I am a researcher in Birmingham, and I prepared a project based on game-based learning to increase disadvantaged students' math and science. I really need your opinions about how I can do effective teaching activities in math and science. Can we chat by email or if you have time to do a zoom call, please? If you help me out with the projects, I will be appreciated it? Looking forward to hearing from you. All the best
