Thank you for the video. I have a question regarding the third fan. Is the sound of that fan similar to other laptops or is it constant whistle like sound as suggested by some reviews? And how is that sound when you are in silent mode selected from the Armoury Crate? If you happened to use last year’s G14/G16/M16 then how would you compare their fan sound to this one?

I'd really like to compare a g14 ryzen 4060 120hz oled vs g16 intel ultra 9 4070 240hz oled gaming performance wise.

The G16 wins... larger screen, better performance, 4070 has more CUDA cores, thus better fps.

@joling0 Sounds good. What kind of specs are you looking for? Do you have a budget in mind?

@techknowlux Looking for a laptop with great reliability like a Dell precision or a thinkpad if you've got anything like that. No set budget, but I'd prefer to avoid anything too expensive ($1,000+) unless it was a good deal. Dedicated gpu preferred but not necessary. As for specs, anything is fine as long as it isn't too outdated and has at least 16gb of ram / 512gb ssd or more.

Great comparisons and explanations. I was on edge between the two, but now I can't justify the 4070's drastic price increase for a slight increase in FPS. The 4080 is whole different story though

I would buy rtx4060 version, but it is with IPS and 16GB ram configuration whereas the 4070 is with OLED and 32GB.

@manyabatham Welcome. Hope you're enjoying. The 4060 will do just fine. Of course, if you have $$$ to spend get the 4070 and you'll have tons of fun. Basically fire up a game put it on High settings and just play! Oh and for demanding games, don't forget to turn on DLSS and Frame Generation.
