I think you need to enable v-sync for the screen tearing.

@@coffee.and.notions is there a frame rate cap setting? Maybe you need to set that to match your frame's Hz value. Edit: Whenever I have a screen tear, I just enable v-sync and set a frame cap. It solves my problem.
