I don't get why people hate on Twilight Princess so much it's a great title. A lot of people say Twilight Princess is the worst Zelda game and I have no clue why they would say that but I actually like Twilight Princess the most out of all the Zelda games so far. I love the dark story in this game and I'm getting a little tired of the cartoony Zelda games like Wind Waker and Skyward Sword. Yes those two games are great as well but we only got really one dark Zelda game and it worked. I enjoyed Wind Waker but if that game could get two sequels I think Twilight Princess deserves at least one sequel.

Twilight princess is my favourite Zelda entry as well. I actuallly have seen a lot of people giving it very low ratings and complaints. I personally think it has some of the best gameplay and graphics of the entire series. I especially enjoy the boss battles and mini-boss battles the most. From what I've heard, people don't like it because of the wolf portions and the lack of side quests and such. But I enjoy all of it really. I don't see why people should really despise it.

I remember when I was a wee little tot and my parents bought my siblings Ocarina of Time for Christmas in 2002. One day I was watching my sister play the Forest Temple and I was seriously thinking "I really wish Link could just turn into a wolf." In all honesty, the addition of the wolf system made the game for me. It was a great addition to the already amazing play through experience already so expected of the Legend of Zelda series. Plus, there is nothing more satisfying than being yelled at by Midna and then getting to piss her off by forcing her to hold on for dear life as I jump of some random cliff.

The problem is that they try to straddle multiple art styles under one title. If each of these games were released without preconceived notions about what a Zelda game should look like, people would have loved them right off the bat and you wouldn't see as much bitching. I love Twilight Princess. I love almost every Zelda game, and I really like the things that make the games individual like the wolf transformations from this game, the sailing in Wind Waker and the time travel in Ocarina of Time. I think it's pointless to compare them to each other though because they're all great. It's not like Ocarina of Time is the sixth sense and Twilight Princess is The Last Air Bender or something.

My favorite part of this game is that after you defeated a group of tough enemies, if you would sheath your sword immediately, link would do that cool little sword twirl animation before he'd sheath his sword super dramatically. It was the perfect end to every single fight

The Wolf parts weren't *bad* but it could've been so much better, the wolf wasn't very different from normal link in terms of functionality. Your wolf senses didn't leave you with any sense of discovery, you say a flashy glowy thing? Press a button and talk to it. Now, what they could've done is placed an object there to signify that that person had died? Maybe a skeleton with a sword that slightly wobbles, that way you still have to discover it.

The cemetery is in the final game. It's an optional room, easily missable, in the final dungeon, Hyrule Castle. It's off to the side in the courtyard, doesn't get you much, rupees or something, but it is there.

+Nick Hunter me for some reason, I found the story pretty charming, I especially like the ugly pig faced guy part where you have to get him to fix the bridge and you and linebeck have to get an expensive ring, I love how it felt so dynamic and it was so memorable. There was other small stuff like the battle with the big guy in the back of the train and the guy on the side of the train tracks that gives you info that where for some reason memorable.

Yes, but it does not beat out Wind Waker in every way. They both are very well developed games with good points and points that could have used some work. Even though I prefer the brightness and vivid emotions of Wind Waker over the dark and gritty story and art direction of Twilight Princess, I don't think I could ever bring myself to say that Wind Waker is the obviously better choice. It is obvious that Twilight Princess does, in fact have some tings over Wind Waker, in my opinion, and vice virsa. It is pretty foolish to make an absolute statement based on personal taste.

***** It's been awhile since I've played TP, so I can't give an accurate opinion, but I've always loved Wind Waker. I think all the Zelda games are great in their own way. The original may not have many interesting items, or the diagonal movement of later 2D Zelda games, but it had the open-world and indiscriminate dungeon order that made the game amazing. The Oracle games had items like the Magnet Gloves, and the Switch Hook which were very fun to use. Majora's Mask was very side quest oriented. There were only 4 dungeons, but the game was full of side quests that really made you care about the characters in the world, making it that much more important to save them. And say what you will about Skyward Sword's graphics (they made them that way to make up for the Wii's aging hardware), or the controls (I'm personally fine with motion controls), but the story was beautiful. It had its funny moments, its dark moments, an explaination for Ganon, and one of my favorite villains. Point being, not every Zelda game is perfect, but they all have something wonderful about them :)

I loved each and every one of the Zelda games. To all of you die-hard Zelda fans out there, you shouldn't complain too much about certain Zelda games sucking... I come from the Sega side of gaming and more specifically Sonic The Hedgehog, and at least you never had such a horrid game like Sonic '06 in your Zelda series! All of the Zelda games were decent, and if not; amazing. There's not too much to complain about in any of the games for me. I'm not a die-hard fan but I do play whenever I can.

It's not even that playing as a wolf is bad, because it's not, it's great. It's the content that is available in wolf form that sucks. Most of it is a series of gated fetch-quests as a wolf, followed by an awesome dungeon as a hylian. Of course you're gonna resent playing as a wolf then.

I was seriously disappointed when the Twilight Princess story didn't match the hype the E3 trailer gave me. It didn't even match the jaw-dropping shock of some scenes in Ocarina of Time. Insult to injury; they built up Zant majorly throughout the game (an otherwise badass character) and delivered a definitive "fuck you" with his boss battle. Not to mention his ambiguous final scene at the very end that amounted to absolutely nothing. So yeah. Wind Waker was a much better successor to Ocarina of Time.

Twilight Princess was and still is amazing. Even down to the soundtracks which kicked ass. I love having the wolf in the game. And the Palace of Twilight was great. It's too short tho, but I don't care. It's actually more like a palace than a temple for once. Who would have a giant puzzle in front of their throne? No one. It's realistic. Which is why I love it. The twilight theme was a great choice and that along with Midna and the music are the reasons this is my one and only favorite game of all time.

I freaking loved the wolf thing. And I loved Ilia as a potential non-Zelda girlfriend. Since other than Skyward Sword, Link and Zelda have more a friendship/professional/destiny-talk-crap relationship, which is really a bummer, even in Ocarina of Time.

And when they did try to fix it in Skyward Sword, people said that the world is too compact and too much backtracking is involved (even though it's not really backtracking as you do new shit when you came back so people should shout their mouths but I digress)

Robb Sturtcman It was waaaaaaay to bland to look at and it was too big with nothing in it. Even on horseback it was boring. At least the Great Sea and The Sky were nice to look at and had things in them to make them more fun, TP's overworld was just naked.

Speaking of Wind Waker 2, it may be Phantom Hourglass. Sea travel, and the fact that its an direct sequel. Just an guess. But really, if theres going to be an Twilight Princess 2, there are few things i expect. Big dungeons, good sword combat and tough enemies and bosses, and an large overworld with an option for an jukebox and muting the music/sound effects. All i ask if theres going to be one.

I have to say this was my favorite Zelda game, even surpassing Ocarina of Time. The game is heavily built around solid story elements that add an emotional aspect to the experience as a whole, and the gameplay only added to that for me. Even the wolf I found to be a good game changer, as it provided a new way of playing if you ever got tired of being human. Overall, I felt Link and Hyrule wore the darker mature tones of the game well, and I'd be interested to see a return to such a style.
