No, just the response time, higher/lower fps cap, and color accuracy depending on which monitor you bought. It will all come down to your hardware/components when it comes to performance. You might just have a single stick of ram, make it atleast 2x8gb 3000mhz, and clear some unnecessary programs on your computer, especially in background so that you'll be able to maximize your cpu on gaming as it will reduce the cpu usage. Same goes for rams.

Yeah this is very nice for a budget build. I'm gonna use this with a 19" 1440x900 monitor to squeeze out a couple more frames on lower rez. Can just buy a decent aftermarket card if you wan't to upgrade in the future

i just build my 3400g system with sapphire r9 380 4gb gpu for almost 14k pesos (291.11USD) and a single stick 8gb 3200mhz for now due to tight budget. i built this for my daughter and i must say Ryzen 5 3400g is a decent system! and i think it will be good @2021 :)

You should do, I just built one similar to yours although I do have 3200mhz ram instead of 2666mhz. I think you might drop a couple frames but I’m talking like very minimal difference. Just try get a gpu when you can, it’ll make a massive difference.

It doesnt make sense to upgrade because its just swapping one standard processor to another, they are not an upgrade, both 8 core i5 SKUs clock same as one another, the only thing different is memory, so there is no meaningful or significant advantage to upgrading to 3400.

Yeah you need a B450 because the 320's BIOS latest update is "weak" to the 3400g and have some issues

Unfortunately, the picture I took with my trusty little Windows 10 machine doesn't seem to show that the image size on the CPU of the 3400G is larger than the size of the display. Even on a larger monitor the scale would not increase enough, even in the more common 16:9 aspect ratio.

If you're on a tight budget go for this bad boi then buy a GTX 1660 Super (or lower than 1660 like 1080 would still be good) if you have the budget, with these two you can play games on 1080p High or Ultra settings at 60fps (might drop to no less than 53fps) even on recently release games. I play on lowest anyways.
