What skill books would/should you put on Merlin as lead and Agrippa as assistant? K43/20B considering replacing Ludwig/Alexandra with Suchet/Frigg as well🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

it doesnt matter who the general is..its always the same, attack, hp, def, size, range/speed and one you choose

If you got anything more than 2.5m march size: Douglas comes first, Marcus second and Merlin third. March Size makes a huge difference in the effective damage output especially the higher Keep level you are. My personal advice would be to not swap to Merlin from Marcus since that will decrease your effective damage (even tho your buffs will improve). Its the same reason Andre Masena is the best mounted assistant even tho he has less buffs than Napoleon, Hestia or Jayverman. There are situations that you might want higher buffs than march size (this causes less effective damage output) which is when you rally-join rally and you are reaching rally capacity, but if you solo attack or join rallies that never reach capacity - Marcus will be better.

I will be using marcus as main and merlin as assistant...but i would use either of them over douglas

Caesar (fragments/Copies) -Rank top 5 in Mayan event. -300(1 fragment) or more coins from lucky coin event (its a 2 day event). *If you get 1st or 2nd place in Mayan event, you get enough fragments to get a full copy of Caesar. good luck and have a great evony day.

mayan is not easy top 5 on some servers...my server..top 20 players get 10m+

@@gamingaddictswithgenghis Yes. Once larger coiner players have fully developed generals its hard for a f2p to get in top 5. Personally i only have 16 fragments of Caesar...all from the lucky coin event. Im in no rush to get him cause i have no plans to develop the general. Just need him in my inventory. Side note. Maria event is back. But all the old mail i saved with points got nerfed. Just hitting the monster cause i can not defeat the Keep. Maria is still the only gold gen that you can redstar without using blood of ares.

I had 100 unused general tokens (77 used) , and I ended up with 15 Merlin. It was my time to upgrade the archer general. Marcus is my assistant. Thanks for the double check on my math. Time to save for my next ground general.

Merlin has a way less march size increase so even though his stats are better, the huge percentage lost in March size increase he is not better than Douglas and neither is Marcus better than Douglas

Imo. They are both better than douglas. I know some people who believe in douglas but if they upgraded they would see the difference

This is what I'm torn on...I'd like an upgrade (Douglas/Eleanor), but if we're looking at getting a new perfect pair in a few months.....I think I'd rather hoard tokens lol

I have the option to do either merlin or marcus as main. With marcus as main, you would get 13% march size, vs only 5% with merlin as main. Considering that, isn't marcus the better main general, and merlin the better assistant? If you think something else overrides the march size difference, I'd be curious to know what! Maybe I can improve my analysis.

Id probably go with Merlin / Marcus over Marcus / Merlin...if it were ground or horse id go for the larger march size...This is under the assumption that Merlin ends up 80%+ higher in everything from his higher attributes...

I'm not messing with an attack ranged or ground general until the next event with a general pairing comes out. It's either gonna be 2 ground generals or ranged generals. I'd rather use runestones to finish off sub city generals or duty generals. There's no way either marcus or this one isn't replaced very soon

There are players that have a tonne of Generals & they have only been playing for 2 or 3 months. They are constantly asking in chat, "is this a good General?" It really is a distraction for most; keeping their eye "off" the prize, their Monarch.

Merlin has 5% higher attack, 15% lower defense, 50% higher HP, and 3% less march size compared to Marcus

Random luck with check points at every portal, I think if you sit through it you can get it easily. You anyways need one copy of him for the covenant. By the way I got 2nd rank in the last event and got Caesar ( not sure what I will do with him I already have martinus). So give it a shot.

For the Mayan event, shoot for 5 battlefield hospitals and you will score in the top 3.

It’s not only the battlefield hospital. You need to basically stick to 2 things. 1) you need the poison tower on every level if not just go back and start again 2) you need maximum possible troops to survive each level and for that you need healing buffs healing ponds or whatever there is to heal. Remember to save those junior healing and medium healing and use them all at lv19 before getting into lv20. Triple lines help a lot. just don’t take any buff during stages that prevents you from using healing buffs.

i would not move on from douglas yet but if you had simeon or kyuga or someone older, then i would move to merlin or marcus, always take the covenant general

😭 I feel like I lifted about every rock possible searching for archer attack buffs... My best at k40 was high 2.4 - low 2.5k... I just can't amplify Supremacy gear, but always felt like I'm missing something, somewhere.

i focused on the senate taking 88 percent in rally range attack because im rally setter..were old server at 442 who stopped coining and just be happy and contented to what we have..senate,seals,officers gears blazons lucky all 2 blazon at marching range attack..those helped me to get 2988 range attack buff at k40 with monarch 45.
