Awesome list and cool to see you explain why these mean something to you. That just makes it better. From 81 here so I get you on the age gap thing. The 20 somethings I work with are like "You ever play THIS game?" From their childhood in the 00s when I was a 20 something and then have to ask for an explanation what it even is and they look at me like "What?!" You guys are right that lists can change or you second guess yourself. That’s it I’m playing Contra III today. Never played through it. Tried it 2 or 3 times. Smash Ultimate is so good to me, I sold all the tiger smash games on eBay the past 2 months and started my business with the money 😂. Nice list by Robert. Your 1 just joined my collection this month.

Great list, and wonderful reasoning behind each of the choices. I tried to do this and it so hard to just pick 10. Even in the list there are franchises included because I just couldn't pick one of them. Will put 5 Here and 5 in Wes' video (Honorable Mentions will be in here). Even though there are numbers, it so hard, so this just the 10, I tried the best and #1 and 2 are the only ones I feel are right, the rest can easily be interchangeable with each other. 6) Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow 7) Legend of Dragoon 8) Champions Return to Arms 9) Crash Bandicoot (OG trilogy) 10) Need for Speed Underground 2 HM: Super Mario Bros. 3, DKC Franchise, WWF Smackdown Here Comes the Pain, Digimon World 1, Parasite Eve 1&2, Dino Crisis, Final Fantasy 7 &8 - Among many, many more.

We used to have it. Here's a shitty story for you. We had a mint copy CIB. A good friend started collecting the Genesis hard so we sent him a care package with a lot of Genesis games and that game was one of them. The package got lost in the mail. We'll own it again some day. Cheers!

I agree that Nightfire was the best on the PS2. I always played Nightfire with my best friend on his PS2 growing up and that's what made me want to get it for my GameCube at home. However, that's when I noticed that the controls were better on a PS2 controller.

Lots of obscure choices in this one Rob. Wes seemed like he had more of the conventional choices in his. Of course a top ten gaming list is always tough. There are just so many awesome games through various generations to choose from. Here's my choices. U could only play one for the rest of ur life and then the other was then erased and never existed. Which one would u pick. Nintendo or playstation. Now if u pick Nintendo. U can play any console and game handheld. Nes snes n64 gamecube Wii Wii u switch any game that was out on Nintendo. And now if u pick Nintendo. U can never play a playstation console. Or handheld. No ps1 ps2 PS3 or 4 or 5 no psp. Basically playstation would never exist. Or if u picked Playstation then u could play all playstation games. But then Nintendo would not exist. So which of the big two is more important to u. Which one would u play forever and the other u never play again. Im not adding xbox or Sega cause lot of those games can be played on playstation. Just wondering which company Nintendo or playstation is the greatest and ur ultimate pick.
