Thanks for the vid, my controller's battery died out and I guess a previous owner stripped a screw so I had some trouble with this, but I appreciate that this video exists, I'm pretty bad with tech stuff.

The controllers that come with the type of battery you put in here have two white plastic holders each side to center it. The first models had those two white plastic holders, plus a big one in the center for smaller battery. The middle models, like the ones this battery is for, only had the two side holders. The later models didn't have any, as the battery itself had two notches to hold it, like you had there originally.

PH 1 is the best fit, but they're usually too thick to fit the holes in the case. PH 0 is the second best option. PH 00 sounds way too small, you're gonna round your screws with that.

Thanks for the video! Mine is the same type as yours - the A1 model. With the battery loose like that does it rattle around inside the controller? Is it okay to use double sided adhesive to secure it better or would that overheat?

If there wasn't any adhesive to begin with, I wouldn't add any. When the back is on, I don't think it moves around much.

@@Falconhawk3784 he has a ps3 that has been jailbroken, and probably installed mod packages onto it. ps3 will not accept non-sony hardware without being jailbroken first.
