@@GANGNATIONMUSIC What are you talking? Those are the worst controllers I ever used in the last 15 years. It's not even usable. Only if you're a casual who never tried to play even slightly serious. I think for kids it's good enough. Like barely, for kids below 7 years old.

My PS4 controllers analog stick works when I want to move forward but when I press down to sprint it stops Sprinting and it also doesn't let me move backwards

Im still kinda confused on if my ps3 controller is real, however i installed a driver in my pc to connect a ps3 controller to it and as it seems it is real, everything looks nice and looks real (these controls are from 2011, and before these fake controllers were rare)

Tbh before i even seen this video ive bought the "fake" ones not knowing and they look n feel legit and play perfect. So i don't care their so affordable for the casual gamer that u can buy many of them and have enough for life..

Another thing I have found is, the bottom of the controller where you hold them, once held up to the light you can see through them, while the fakes you can't. I have the original controller that came with the system, it's not a dualshock so not sure if the real dualshocks are like that also.

Only the old SIXAXIS controllers are like this! But nice observation. I was very surprised when I saw it the first time. Got my first SIXAXIS last year. I only had Dualshock controllers.

Adding simple REAL / FAKE captions under the appropriate controller during the video would've made this video so much better. When a caption was finally used to denote the fake, the video had 15 seconds left! Come on brother... because your insight & everything else is great.

It's done that way on purpose, to force people to LISTEN to the details. If they skip around just trying to look at screenshots, they will miss important details.

@@HowToX Brother...lol, come on. We both know the attention span of people is at it's lowest point in history. You aren't going to reverse that trend by avoiding captions and graphics. I listened to the entire video, heard everything and like I said, thought your insight was great. I still believe denoting which controller is the fake and which one's legit is helpful.

I need help, every single game I try to play on my ps3 is so delayed! The second I move the analong stick it takes probably 0.5-1 second to register the movement. Making it unplayable I’ve tried this with all my 3 ps3 controllers and my ps5 controllers Any suggestions?

On the PS3 XMB menu go to settings, then accesories adjustment, input lag delay calibration, move the calibration slider to -0.5.

Trying to help a friend get one on ebay, why the hell is this like this? did companies have to pretend to be Sony to make thrid party controllers? I dont recall this being an issue on Xboxes or Nintendos, 3rd parties just tell you they arent made by the console manufacturer

Yes, there are 3rd companies that try to pretend to be Sony. It is like this in every sector of electronics: air pods, speakers, laptops, etc. Yes it happens for Xbox and Nintendo, but some devices may be harder to duplicate than others, especially if it's a newer product.

Something I found out is that the more you specify that you want an "original Sony/ oem new/ sealed ps3 controller", the higher chance you're gonna run into a fake, I bought 3 "new" ps3 controllers and they all were fakes in original packaging, with one going for $80 was in the old school full plastic style packaging, this motherfucker literally cut and glued the sealed plastic back. Then I just said fuck it and bought a used one for $15, Sony authentic, with sixaxis and dualshock, works perfectly, was just dirty. Btw, easiest ways to know for sure is to use your PC or testing the sixaxis can also be an easy way to test, none of the fakes I bought had working sixaxis
