Finished my 3rd playthrough of Control last night, and I've been digging through a ton of lore and theories more than ever, and even though I loved reading all the documents, I wish these kind of archive videos existed in the game itself, just like Darling's presentations. Your work in giving life to these documents, and connecting them to either the real world or other events in the game or in the RemedyVerse is remarkable. Can't wait for more Archivist episodes ! I love the Duck so much! One of my favorite Altered Items! Also for a Bureaucracy that deals with keeping dangerous items under lock and key you would expect they would be more aware of an agent taking items home.

Considering the item's previous owner, prior to its alteration, could said owner have influenced the alteration to produce the item's current... 'personality'? Additionally: If the Rubber Ducky were bound as an OoP, could it impart the ability to 'blink' to a parautilitarian?

I was under the original assumption when playing the game originally that this was a direct SCP reference, which to me is was hilarious even if it didn't entirely match up. Whether the person that originally put it in was an SCP fan or not, it does have surprising similarities though. Also I think it would be awesome for you to do some SCP lore. I know it doesn't fall under gaming, but... It'd be great fun with how similar the FBC is to the SCP organization.

A rubber duck shows up countless times in Alan Wake 2. It would seem to be random decoration, but it shows up in extremely odd places. I can't help but wonder if this is the same AI, or another rubber duck with the same properties. Perhaps a link can be formed with multiple versions of an item, like the different Lucky Cat statues. Or maybe I'm just paranoid and seeing rubber ducks everywhere, and am being inherently distrustful of them.

I wonder if the researcher tried putting the rubber duck on to some water, or submerging it in solutions. I was a bit disappointed about how quick they went through pH 0 to 14, yet didn't try negative pH or >14 pH. Would have been better to try the electricity at different frequencies, and same for vocal inputs

@@Beowolf-jy5rc yes, but often taught the range is 0 to 14. It is the way ir is calculated, pH is a negative log and 0 is not 0 in the standard context.

there is a few different incidents of alter item being took out of the FBC Trench was said to have brought something home with him or it fallowed him, But I have wondered if because that incident he was fired or quite before becoming director.
