@TheCheeseMan Tell me you've never played it with friends without actually saying you've never played it with friends. I'm not quite sure why it being minigolf (not actually golf) would disqualify it from being a good multiplayer game.

After the Fall is my favorite co-op game. Best community in VR, Best manual reloads in VR, and as you mentioned, great weapon upgrades and skins to keep you coming back.
@GTNoverАй бұрын
I do wish VR developers would realize that crossplay is huge for co-op games because VR is still a smaller market. In order to have a large enough player base, crossplay is usually necessary.
@Thomas-cr2pt17 күн бұрын
they know, its just very costly to make releases for so many platforms
@GTNover17 күн бұрын
@Thomas-cr2pt If they know, then they need to either stay away from multiplayer gaming or make it crossplay. No one wants to play a game designed for multiplayer with empty lobbies.
@Thomas-cr2pt17 күн бұрын
@@GTNover You only worry about that if the game is making money. Few games in vr are making money. It's a tough world. That's also why there is so much forever in early access content. You are thinking to much from luxury.

Some others that are worth noting: Into The Radius 2, Crossfire Sierra Squad, Crisis VRigade and Crisis Brigade 2 Reloaded (short but very fun in coop), Battlegroup VR, Forewarned, Fast & Low and DEVOUR. Also some older VR games that are still fun in coop; Raw Data, Ironwolf VR and Zero Caliber

My only criticism of Demeo is it’s really the only game that’s in its class (as far as quality degree that matters) . Mixed Reality tabletop games that you can play local IRL, online, or a mix seem to such an obvious use for MR. I know I’m a broken record about this, but the fact that aren’t more MR board games is completely beyond me.
@StarScreamReeeАй бұрын
The multiplayer for it is dead despite pcvr, pc, PlayStation, psvr, and I think iOS crossplay. While it has good single player component it’s really a multiplayer game. Devs notice the lack of continual player base. I’m often wondering if dead internet theory is real when I look at the review count for a VR game and then buy and hop on for multiplayer to find it’s dead.
@RammvisАй бұрын
Eagerly anticipating All On Board for something new, I'd love to see someone take the bones of Demeo and make a space station, alien infested, semi co-op like the board game Nemesis, The Thing, Battlestar Galactica, Behemoth ect..

Glad to see Karnage Chronicles getting some love - it's a GREAT game, way ahead of its time. One of my favorites is 'Tales of Glory 2: Retaliation'. It offers some of the best gameplay reminiscent of 'Metal Gear Solid', with vibes of S.O.C.O.M. 2. You can issue voice commands to your team, engage in large battles via control screens similar to Mount & Blade, execute hostage rescues, perform breach and clears, and fully indulge in stealth modes. It needs some work, but considering it's from a single developer, it includes some of the best elements shooters have to offer. The co-op is still in its infancy, but features some of the BEST AI NPCs to fight in VR. At the 'insane' level, they don't feel like cheating bots, making it the closest experience to taking on human players in VR. The co-op can be a bit rough, but it's improving slowly. We play tons of Tabor. Valheim is now great in VR. Phasmophobia - a true scream fest. Tactical Assault VR - great fun with simple graphics, though the bots can feel a bit too smart on the objective maps. Into the Radius VR 2 - co-op is a bit janky but fun, especially with a buddy. It's like playing STALKER. Convergence - again, a bit janky but really fun, much like Metro. THE FOREST!!!! - I mean, come on... The Forest speaks for itself. I would definitely recommend trying VTOL VR if you like to fly. It has an AMAZING community and an AMAZING developer! The new weather and lighting have added so much more immersion, with tons of content to keep you and your friends engaged for hundreds of hours, especially with the Steam Workshop and mod loaders... just wow, there's so much here. Battle Talent now has a dungeon mode in co-op, which is very cool. Electronauts is great for co-op music fun. Kayak VR: Mirage now includes co-op chill modes for enjoying sessions with friends. There are probably a few more eclectic ones, but they're not coming to mind right now. Have a great 2025, all!

Fyi it is cross compatible so you can play with friends on both the PC and PSVR 2... But.. my PC version refused to connect to the internet, and when I move in the PC version with any sort of instrument where you have to be able to read it, or watch some detailed thing.. it jiggles everywhere making it impossible to see. Played a lot of VR games in my day and never had so many janky issues on such a well loved title.
