I'm not going to say I like it perse or think it's a great game but I have the mindset that no game is going to kick my butt so I play it till it submits to me and I beat it lmao then I kick it to the curb, spit in it's face and walk away lmao :) Since it's early access ... I'll probably be circling back to it frequently lol

You're wrong on QGO. The devs have to factor in battery life, so they can't fully use the CPU/GPU. When you have extra batteries, that isn't a factor. I haven't had a crash or issue. Some games look way too low res or foveated to even play without it. Newer games made for Quest 3 don't need it as much.

Resident evil 4 is my favorite resident evil by a LONG SHOT and the VR mode was, very unfortunately, absolute dog shit. Opening a door? Cut from first person to third person. Doing a melee attack? Cut from first person to third person. As someone who has beaten the game about 30 times (literally) and only plays on hard mode, I HAVE to utilize melee attacks FREQUENTLY in order to conserve on ammo, resulting in an extremely disorienting experience which was 100% an immersion killer.

Why isnt your screen getting smaller when Walking? I get everything black. Just a small circle in which i can see, when walking

Stormland is easily one of the best and most overlooked games! Same reason as Lone Echo - it's a Meta owned title but for PCVR only.

Currently playing on psvr2 and love it. Wish I could play for longer sessions but after 30-40 mins need to stop due to nausea 😢

Tried Blaze Rush a game like Rock n Roll Racing, it's pretty fun, I got on a huge discount, it's nothing special as a VR game, is very close to the flatscreen version, but still is always good to play a game in VR with the 3D effect and "god-like" perspective

Moss Book 2 didn't sell as well because it was a timed exclusive for Meta. I almost forgot about it and I did lose a lot of my hype for the game waiting for the PCVR release. I was about to do the same for Escaping Wonderland but that game doesn't have a PCVR version release date so I played it on Quest. I would have loved to see higher quality textures since that game has so many fine details. I would buy it again on PCVR.

PCs generally aren't plug and play. VR in particular. A lot of the best VR experiences are mods, which typically require some basic IT knowledge and competence to do the required tinkering. UEVR has made it pretty accessible though, so long as you can navigate Discord. Cross-buy is still a major draw for me on the Quest store, but I've found lately there's few titles which really make the most of the additional PC power or have graphics options which scale much higher. I understand that it's not worth it for developers, but I still play mostly PC VR for titles ranging from Arizona Sunshine Remake to The Light Brigade, Into The Radius and Compound. I have been tipping more towards the Quest 3 standalone titles though, as they start to push the performance of the XR2 Gen 2 and integrate mixed reality in ways which are more than just a gimmick. I've only tried, not owned, headsets other than the Quest 2 and 3. So no doubt that's a bias. I've also never been a console gamer, always PC, so that's another bias. Nor are horror games my main genre, so OLED blacks aren't that big a deal for me, and certainly no comparison to the clarity of pancake lenses. Even allowing for that, In terms of the range of potential uses, the library, the ongoing support (including accessories) and undoubtably in terms of sheer bang for buck, I don't think there's any real competition for the Quest 3. Sadly, as I'm not exactly a fan of Meta as a company and business model. I'd love to see "Deckard" change that, give PCVR a kick in the pants, while also addressing the standalone market. Not going to hold my breath though.

Tens of millions, wow... that sounds like a lot. In fact it sounds like a made up number based on units sold. Like multiple units sold to each user who still bothers with this stuff, ancvthe rest sitting in closets. Good thing Meta doest release the number of active users the way other platforms do.

Your reach of your channel is at a potential tipping point -- where your mentions alone have the potential to make or break a game. If I were in your position, i'd be sure to make a point to ALWAYS highlight the hidden gems, maybe in multiple episodes. I think this video is getting very close to what I like to see in a VR channel. It's all about bringing light to the games stuck in the background. In that spirit, i'm always glad to see more coverage of Vertigo 2! I can't wait for the Expansion - coming this March. Special note for any aspirational VR devs -- Vertigo, its' sequel, and the upcoming DLC were made by a single dev! Only a couple hired voice actors. Zach Tsiakalis-Brown may be in the running for VR's Shigeru Miyamoto -- Valve has already hired him for work to help launch the Index AT AGE 17! Seriously - there's interviews of him at age 17 where he's talking candidly about all his experience. We need more visionaries like him. I'd love to see a new interview with him about the upcoming expansion (and whether he has plans after that). This is the best VR has ever been lol #1 selling game consol for the holidays on Amazon speaks volumes on its own. Yea theres short comings, its technically just breaking thru to the mainstream but the constant "VR is dead" videos and articles so many uninformed youtubers/journalists who really have no idea what theyre talking about make (not you lol) just unnecessarily turns people off whove yet to step in and right now all that matters is getting this into as many homes as possible, the more players we get the more incentive companies have to invest in bigger better games as weve seen with the likes of Batman and Alien, those wouldnt exsist without this new surge. Graphics are finally just about on par with flat screen, still seems jankier but thats only because your so zoomed into the action you notice all those crummy textures that flat screen games get away with. We still have a ways to go but this is absolutely the future of gaming and Meta really is the reason for this so far, I have zero intrest playing flat screen when I can literally be inside the game with VR lol multiplayer still sucks tho too many brats 😂 I do worry about the companies making stupid decisions as youve stated, very good insight without the unnessary and uninformed nonsense so many others spout, 2 thumbs up as usual great video👍👍

Hell yes Into Black!! I freaking loved that game and I feel like it got completely overshadowed by Batman, Metro, and Behemoth all releasing within a month or so of it. Underdogs and Until You Fall are fantastic as well. And I would add Runner to the list. It's gorgeous, blazing fast, and tough as hell but it is super fun. Pretty inexpensive too.

RE8 PSVR2 & RE4R VR is so Awesome. Thats Sad RE4 Remake VR is so low; definitely the best RE4 experience. Fingers crossed RE7 VR2.

In Death Unchained is really freaking hard. Also the teleporting enemies are good for a jump scare or two when they show up behind you. Haven't played it in a long time, but now I think I need to fire it up again.

I have recently been playing X:Rebirth VR - once you get it started (which is difficult to say the least), it really is a great game. From Other Suns is a fantastic game (Meta PC Exclusive) and I keep I meaning to get back to Stormland (Meta PC Exclusive)... I was trying to figure out how to start a new game since it has been so long, I don't remember some of the story/mechanics... its like being dropped into the middle of a movie Just watching another video reminded me of Star Trek Bridge Crew... I actually fired that up with the DLC the other day and was really impressed.

I highly suggest Grimlord. Took me 21 hours to beat because of dying millions of times. Almost gave up and returned it at first. On my 2nd play through now with all the end game equipment.

Battle group VR, I loke it because it stands out from all the horror, zombie, shooter games. I love strategy games and standing on a battle ship giving commands to my fleet is awesome and ex streamly emmersive. If you like real time strategy 😉 give it a try. Pssss here is a secret, he's working on BGVR 2. It's on pc and I believe meta now as well.

exclusives ruined VR for me. why cant I play quest 2 games on my rift s? that thing uses my 20 gig gpu. I only play racing sims occasionally in VR because every game I want to play is exclusive to an inferior VR than the one I own.
