Jay Brewer It doesn’t matter how strong homelander is. Homelander is too small he would just go straight through the bottom of the plane. Learn some physics before arguing about it. The amount of force Homelander would need to put into the bottom of the plane to keep it from falling would destroy the plane as he would be applying the force on such a small part of the plane. With your logic, a bullet to the head would just bounce off and just bruise somebody’s entire body.

That honestly never made sense to me, because if you are flying into a plane going 600 mph, why would you not go through it or something like that. The funny thing is...Homelander is completely right. He can't just lift the plane with nothing to stand on. He can't actually save the passengers, but the fucked up thing is he doesn't even try. He approaches it the way some of us approach our day jobs. Yeah, we could probably put in the effort to fix a certain mess, but we don't because we're lazy. That's why he leaves, because he just doesn't want to put in the extra effort. Only it costs 300 people their lives.

Just so you guys are on the same page, homelander can gauge how powerful his Lazer eyes are. He zapped that terrorist in front of the psssangers with just enough force to kill the guy but to not vaporise him entirely as he normally is shown to, then, he goes to the cockpit and uses extra force to kill the guy but to pierce through him and destroy the controls. The fact that homelander wasn't being careful shows that he had no interest in saving the plane and the passengers
