Realistically, they could try if they really wanted to. Our geology alone makes it a pain for other countries to invade ours. Then there’s our armed forces and armed civilians. Also, we’re more likely going to lose a war due to the fact that us using our full military might would be legally questionable (therefore prolonging any wars we are involved in) than we are to lose one because we don’t have the resources to keep fighting. Like it would take an entire coalition of countries fighting the US to justify us using our full military might. Invading the US would be a pain. Maintaining control over any territory we lose would be an even bigger pain. And that’s partly because of all the natural disasters the US gets hit by. Wanna invade Tornado Alley? Better look up Tornado Season so you know when to not start invading it. Not even New York State is completely safe from tornadoes.
@gamester5123 жыл бұрын
@@Gamer88334 Not to mention the fact that since our civilian population can legally own and use firearms, any invading force would have to contend with not only our actual military, but many armed civilians who would fight to defend their home as well. @@shocktroopah4438 Well, no. Like you said, they're reacting to the game, but the player's actions are not reflective of the game. It's like calling CSGO toxic; you really mean the community not the game itself. If the player is introducing the source of conflict between reality and fiction, they're adversely affecting the reaction, something we see is many Gamology videos with experts who don't play video games and can't comprehend suspension of disbelief or the mentality of a player. They make comments on the player's actions which are wildly inaccurate and irrelevant to the actual game itself.
@zettour.3 жыл бұрын
@@shocktroopah4438 You're confusing game and game meta. Because a particular style is advantageous and most prominent doesn't mean the game intends for it to be that way. Especially in the story missions; it's pretty clear that you're meant to work with the NPCs and not be a spaz, though it's not like the game is going to penalize you for not going by its design.
@zettour.3 жыл бұрын
@@shocktroopah4438 Again, you keep confusing the game and the player. I'm not saying you're necessarily wrong or ignorant somehow, but the way the player interacts with a game just isn't part of the game itself. For example, if someone decides to blow up their teammates in Arma 3 and go on a suicidal rampage through town with God mode, I'm not going to accept that as a valid representation of Arma 3 especially if it is socially accepted that you should/could play differently to conform more to the game's realism. I understand where you're coming from, but there has to be a line between game and player. If you still don't think so, I think we'll just agree to disagree.
